 Every college in which you have applied prepares a merit list for the next round to call the students of interview based on your aggregate score on various parameters such as CAT marks, 10th, 12th and Graduation percentage, Work Experience etc. whose weightage varies for all different colleges.

Yes with CAT score of 83 percentile you can apply for TAPMI as the cut off goes around 85 every year but there are less chances to get admission. You shall at least apply as with 1-2 Percentile margin, luck plays a big role.

BIM Trichy might give a call, TAPMI seems bleak. Their declared cutoffs for people with workex is 80 percentile. Sometimes they call people who have a profile like yours at around 75-77 percentile. 73 is a little low OA for CAT. Given the fact they are reducing intake to their PGDM program, it's a little tough.

TAPMI cutoff for freshers for PGDM and PGDM HR/Sales&Marketing programs would be 85, for people with workex greater than 12 months, it would be 80 (might get a call at 75+ if the profile is like yours). For PGDM BKFS it would be 90 for freshers and 85 for people with workex. Chance of convert is also high, depends on the interview. GIM might call you based on your profile and sectional cutoffs. UBS and BHU is a sure short call.
