Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai has a training and placement cell. It is one of the important areas where professional schools need to operate proactively. During the 2023 TCET Mumbai placement drive, 405 undergraduate students were placed with a median salary of Rs. 5,00,000 according to the NIRF 2024 Report.

TCET Mumbai Placement Cell helps students to be placed through a campus recruiting procedure after receiving the appropriate, high-quality training from the Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai. Conducting the Student Development Programme, coordinating with businesses for campus hiring, visiting a nearby business and providing vacation training are some of the major duties of the TCET Mumbai Placement Department.

College placement was just an average and there was also not particular cell made for it. As many visits, workshops , extracurricular activities to develop skills were organized but for the context of placement it need improvement.

The placement scenario at TCET, is steadily improving as compared to various institutes. Many tech giants and MNCs visit for recruitment, with HR conducting sessions to prepare students. The T&P cell is highly recognized of TCET. The highest salary package from my Department-E&TC is 19 LPA, and the highest in the institute is 40 LPA. The average salary package is around 4 LPA. The placement process is smooth with various opportunities and support. Training starts in the 3rs-Year, with additional Industry Practice sessions and Employability Skills Development Workshops.

Fee Structure of Thakur College is higher than Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College. But placement stats of Thakur College is lot better than of Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College and Faculty as well as Infrastructure are better than of Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College .

I haven't appeared for my tcet exam, what am I supposed to do know if most of the colleges I want to apply require tcet rank?

Hello,

Few colleges accept various other exams too. So check whether the colleges you want admissions in accept any other exam or not. If they do you can apply for them and then get admissions in the college you like. If they don't then maybe there won't be any other way. Few college accept admissions through Management Quota too. So you can check whether the colleges you want admissions accept Management Quota or not. You can even call the respective colleges and ask them what are the different ways of admissions other than TCET.
