Uiet Chandigarh is a government college established in year 2002. Since uiet is a government college it get funding from government which help them to provide education, hostel and mess for students at an affordable cost unlike Private college.
The main reason for Private college Hostel fee is to high is they are self financed.
Every year government makes education budget which helps these universities to provide all the resources to students at an affordable cost.

If you choose college for good campusing and placement HBTU Kanpur will be best, but UIET is not worst college. But if you choose college as per low fees. UIET will be good option.

As per the previous year cutoff the chances are very less to get a seat in UIET - University Institute of Engineering and Technology however you can try for B.E. in Biotechnology Engineering in the same or you can go for the state level counseling like Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand Etc
