Since admision in course are done on the basis of jee main you have to qualify jee main cut off for the university to get admission in ece branch, since there is no any sport reservation in jee you cannot get admission on basis of that. You can try state university or college of Chandigarh . state university and colleges have reservation for sportspersons.

There is reservation under other backward caste in University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University. The admission to undergraduate BE course is done on the basis of JEE score and the cut off is released category wise.

according to the past year analysis if you want to get admission in guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar for Computer Science and Engineering then you may consider your chances if you get rank under 140000 but it depends upon the category also which you haven't mentioned, this cutoff may vary according to the fluctuation because it depends upon the number of candidate appeared for the exam, total number of seats available, difficulty level of the exam.

You need to have 60% in your 12th board examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects and for SC, ST, PWD it is 55%.

Since you did not mention which branch you want to opt. Generally the closing ranks are around 3lakh- 7 lakh depending on he branch. So you just need to score above the cutoff for JEE mains and there is a high probability to would earn a sea t in UIET chandigarh
