I got 61% in 12th cbse board. But my maths marks is not 60% .
Am I applicable for du jat ???

Hello dear,

If your residential certificate is of Odisha and also all of your higher studies you had taken from Odisha itself then you are not eligible for getting mbbs of VMMC through 85% quota. To apply for 85% quota you must have residential certificate of that state and in delhi you can also apply for 85% quota counseling seat if you have done your Higher studies there(means class 10,11th,12th) otherwise you will be not eligible for that state 85% quota seat. Talking about cut offf, yeah it low for 85% seat than all india 15% quota as from delhi there are less number of neet candidates compared to other state. That's trend till now usually cut off are low for 85% quota but it's not valid that this year will happens too as NEET 2020 results had not been declared yet.

You can check cut off for both 85% quota and 15% quota of Delhi from link given below

Hi,
VMMC is ranked 16 for Medical by nirf 2020.  Faculty and other facilities are excellent .
Fees - 33,500  per year
Total no. of seats - 150
Placements are very good and you have to do one year internship before that.
UCMS is ranked 19 for medical by nirf 2020.
Fees - 7,045 per year
Faculty and placements are good and one year intership is compulsory before placement.
Now i think you can choose yourself which college you want.
Hope it helps...

Hii..for VMMC. The total no. Of All India quota seats is 40, out of which subsidised and non-subsidised seats are 31 and 9. So for general AIQ, Seats are 20.

For, DELHI QUOTA, total 81 seats.

Out of which 16 are non-subsidised.

And 25 are general category seats from the subsisized category.

Hope I cleared your doubts.

Hi,
The minimum required marks for an st candidate to be eligible for vardhaman mahavir medical college, delhi is 319 marks
and the minimum rank required to be eligible for is 157745.
But the cutoff may vary from year to year due to number of student appeared for the exam and number of students qualified and toughness of the paper. So it is safe to have marks around 325 to 340

Hi,
Firstly, I am listing few things to be kept in mind while choosing a medical college-
Location- you are going to spend your 5 most precious years in that area, so choose the one which suits you and your family.
Academics- well, academis in most colleges is almost same and you have to study on your own but the colleges you have listed above have the best faculties.
Infrastructure and technological advancements- choose a clg that can provide you with good technological advancements in medical sector
Hospital- choose a clg whose hospital caters to a large number of patients. This will give you a good clinical exposure in internship and will play a major role in becoming a clinician.
Internal pg quota- MBBS is not very easy but making it to a good pg seat is all that matters!
Future opportunities- getting into a college with good alumni network will increased your chances of getting more opportunities.
Cultural barriers- prefer not to get admission into a clg with language barriers as it is an important thing in your internship years.

Secondly, I am writing few facts about each clg mentioned above other than the regular info about acads, teachers etc
VMMC - you will get delhi quota for pg. Safdarjung hospital has the largest opd so you will get excellent clinical exposure, helpful seniors, good alumni connections, good pg:ug seat ratio(sort of internal pg quota), campus is not very big but college life is amazing. No service bond after MBBS. It is the college with fastest growing rate. I have never regretted my decision of choosing VMMC.
KGMU - caters large number of patients so good clinical exposure. It has a golden era of its own with great alumni. 2 Years of rural service bond.
AIIMS Bhopal>AIIMS Rishikesh>BHU - while you will get aiims tag in the first two, three of them are central universities with internal pg quota. I have ranked them according to my priority. U will also get good amount of research opportunities.
AFMC - Excellent clg but with a very disciplined life. Choose only if u want it, but it will be a good experience on its own. You will get chance to serve in the army but make sure you go through the bond for MBBS students there. Heavy amount is forfeited if the bond is not completed.

Hello
Congratulations for nice performance of your daughter in NEET 2020.
Her NEET 2020 marks 642 are predicted to be in rank range of -1037 to 2687 and overall percentile-99.71-100
Which is really very good.
As the last year cutoff of VMMC General was 640 marks and 1731 rank . There is high chances for her to get admission in VMMC.
But It is difficult to predict whether she will get subsidized seat or not because that depends on number of general students applying who have ranking better than her.

Good Luck!

Dear aspirant,

You haven't mentioned your category or quota but candidates falling under Delhi Quota (General Category), marks above 550 is a good score for getting a seat. For all india quota its above 650. 15% of seats are reserved under the AI category and rest 85 falls under the DQ or state quota. AIQ started with a rank (general) starting from 115 (as of 2019) upto 62154 (UR-PH); 23 students got the admission. The DQ started with a rank of 1733 (gen) and upto 146422 (ST category); where 127 student got the admission.

All the best!
