Scope of Forensic Medicine in India and Abroad
The forensic medicine course aims to impart core knowledge in forensic medical sciences to individuals. To be eligible for the MSc in Forensic Science course, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any science stream from an authorized university with a minimum cumulative score of 50% or an equivalent CGPA.
It is possible to be enrolled to the Master of Science course in Forensic Science after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. A B.Sc. The students who have passed 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology are only eligible to seek admission.
- Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the year of admission.
- Candidates must have to pass in the 10+ 2 level examination with PCB combination
The admission is similar to the rest of the BSc course admissions
- the candidate must have passed class 12th in Science with 50% minimum aggregate from any recognized university.
- Students can take lateral opening is allowed for the students who have completed 3 year diploma in polytechnic after 12th.
- Most of the colleges take admission through merit based.
- Course fees is around 20- 25,000/-
To take admission in Jain University for BSc Forensic Science course, the eligibility is as follows:
