No, you are not eligible for CTET because the eligibility criteria require at least 50% in 12th or Graduation along with the required teacher training qualifications (like B.Ed or D.El.Ed).

CTET Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For Paper 1 (Class 1-5) 50% in 12th + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).

  2. For Paper 2 (Class 6-8) 50% in Graduation + B.Ed (Relaxation available).

Even though you have 61% in M.A. , CTET considers only 12th and Graduation marks , so you don’t qualify .

Yes, you can redo your 12th with Biology from MP Open Board even after completing 12th with Arts. Your Arts marksheet will remain valid , but for medical or science-related fields, you need a Biology-based 12th certificate .

Steps to Reappear with Biology (MP Open Board):

  1. Enroll in MP Open School (MPSOS) for 12th Science (PCB).

  2. You will need to give only Science-related subjects , not all subjects again.

  3. Typically, you must appear for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and one language (Hindi/English) .
