I m a general category student and applying for jee 2021. My father is a government teacher and income is 7.75 lakhs per annum this time.Annual income after July 2021 may increase due to increase in salary.It may be above 8 lakhs for next financial year. May I apply for EWS category.

Dear student,
You can apply through ews certificate for this year. The criteria for ews is that candidate's annual family income must be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. And his family must not own more than 5 acres of agriculture land. The residential flat area should be below 1000 sq ft.
If you fulfill these criterias then you can apply through ews as you will have to issue your ews before july, when your father's income would increase. But after that you will not he able to take any benefits of ews.
