Hello,
It's a very reputed college with very good placement records over the years and the cutoff is hence high.You need to score around 180 marks in jee mains(around 12000 rank) to get CSE branch in NIT Jalandhar although it depends on many factors like number of students appearing in the exam and difficulty level of questions asked in exam.
You have to score a minimum of 75% in class 12th board to get admission in NITs/IIITs/IITs and it's compulsory.So prepare well for both the exams.

Minimum 75% marks jn board exam is mandatory, with PCM as subjects compulsory.
For SC and ST category, Criteria is relaxed to 65%.
the cutoffs for NIT Jalndhar varies asper Number of candidates appeared, Difficulty levels of exams, Orevious year trends, Candidates performance in the exam and hence, cutoff ranks are fluid.
The cutoff for CSE as per 2017 closing rank is near 12195.
