As your query is you have all India rank 5386 in JEE advance and you are from general category and you are confused in between taking admission in IIT Kanpur for bioengineering or IIT BHU for chemical engineering so first of all congratulations as you have cleared the entrance exam now I would like to tell you that in my opinion you should go for IIT Kanpur bioengineering because as per the course of bioengineering is concerned it is in trend and the job opportunity for the same is really high but at the same point even chemical engineering branch is also nice based on job opportunities but still the campus, infrastructure, and placement if all the scenario are taken in count then obviously you should take IIT Kanpur but at last it is all about your interest.

This entirely depends on your interest,  which branch you are interested in. The most challenging decision faced by a student in the current team is to choose between college and course. If you are interested in any if the two branches,  go with the branch but if you don't have any interest between the two and both of them Stand at the same level,  I will suggest you to go for IIT Kanpur.
IIT Kanpur is better than IIT BHU,  so I will suggest you to opt for Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur.

Both th colleges have very good reputation when it comes to faculty,infrastructure,placements,etc.

But Iit Kanpur is better than iit bhu and bioengineering is relevant course from there.
