Hello Shashwat. If you are research oriented, then there is no better place than IISC. Yes, B.pharma from ICT is great, if you are looking for a job post your course completion. But, for doing research in drugs and medicines, I would suggest you to go for BS from IISC, since the research facilities and faculties are way better than any place in India.

Hope this helps.

All the best.

Thank you very much for answering to my question. One more query, I am a maths student in 12th class and I have a dream that I want to find the treatment of at least one incurable disease in my research that is why I want to pursue research in drugs and medicines. If you were in my place, for what Entrance examinations you would have prepared and which courses you would have preferred to get closer to the dream?

If I were in your shoes, I would prepare for both JEE & JEE Advanced, in order to get into BS from IISC. See, this course moulds you into research frame, which will help you immensely in your dream research.
