Abhishek, there is no bridge course or a short cut after studying B.Sc. NEET remains the entrance examination for admission to MBBS. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. After NEET results have been declared and the merit list has been released the Registration process opens. All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. Now this is the firs time that AIIMS and JIPMER are conducting their admissions through NEET score and the admissions will happen through All India Counselling. And All India Counselling happens in 2 rounds and a Mop up round. AIIMS and JIPMER will not fall under Mop up round probably and so ideally the seats will be filled through Round 1 and Round 2. Once NTA releases NEET results and the Merit list is released, the DGHS on behalf of the MCI will release the counselling process. And you have to register for Counselling process by paying refundable and non refundable fees. The fees will be conveyed at that point in time. Once you fill in the registration application, the choice filling and locking option also will open up. You can fill as many options as you want The seats are allotted on the basis of merit and preference.  This is where you ensure you pick the right choices in the right manner. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://dqxeclau.top/mbbs-companion . Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.
