As I understand from your question that you have secured a rank of 900 in TNEA 2019 entrance examination and are interested in admission into Madras Institute of Technology in the domain of Electrical or Civil Engineering but the concerned college( MIT, Chennai) does not offer undergraduate engineering degree courses in the domain electrical or civil engineering. The departments that they have for engineering studies are:

  • Aerospace Engg.
  • Automobile Engg.
  • Electronics Engg.
  • Computer Engg.
  • IT.
  • Instrumentation Engg.
  • Production Engg.
  • Rubber and Plastics Technology.
  • Applied Science.

However, with the rank secured by you, there seems to be a low possibility of your admission into its other departments.

BEST WISHES!
