Taking about my college's infrastructure, it is good and beautifully design. My college have all the necessary equipments and also have facilities like sports room which have various sports. Also, you get the facility of central library. The only thing is ac doesn't work properly and wifi doesn't work.
The quality of education in Amity College of Commerce department is quite good. I am persuing bcom hons and the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments which makes us job ready. Also, the course makes you confident and helps you increase your skills.
The placements needs to be improved. As very few students got placed and not many companies show on. The students who got placed have a decent package and got recruit by good companies. The placement procedure is simple and for the final selection you need to go to the main branch.
The course which I am persuing ie Bcom hons cost me ₹65000 INR a year. I believe I am getting my money's worth as all the facilities, services provided are good According to the fees we pay but i believe the placement needs to be increased so that the students can get the proper satisfaction.
Amity is a huge campus spread in 110 acres which is surrounded by complete greenry. The students here belong to different backgrounds from whom you can learn a lot of things. The only thing is no one puts garbage properly in dustbin and dogs roam here and there all across the campus.
The college is beautiful and provide you complete safety. The thing is Marshalls are not supportive and in name of discipline they are biased as they don't say anything to boys. Otherwise the college is good and give you all the morals and teaches you discipline.
The infrastructure is quite good, environment is hygienic and classrooms are very neat and clean. Facilities are well educated and have their Phds. But to be honest, wifi doesn't work properly and food quality needs to be improved.
I am currently persuing Bba and the quality of teaching is quite good as teachers makes the things easy to understand. Curriculums are updated but need to be modified so that students'can learn more new things rather than taking it as a copy paste project.
The fees of the course is quite high as compared to placements offered. They do not provide very high packages and only few studnets got placed. There should be more companies for recruiting students.
My course Bba cost me ₹1.3lakhs INR. And after paying such a huge amount I am not getting my money's worth as i feel the system needs to be updated and they should give importance to things outside of academics.
The college is widely spread in 110 acres and is beautifully built with greenery all round. It is in panchgaon and is completely safe. Also, there are many activities Students can engega themselves like udan, yuva etc. And, the teachers and staff are very supportive.
You come across many students from different backgrounds and culture. It is a friendly campus and environment is very safe. I personally feel, there is a high change in me in these three years as i have become more independent and confident. A big thumbs up for this college.
The college infrastructure is quite good and have all the facilities and equipment. Services are well maintained and provides you all the things like central ac, wifi, smart boards, projectors etc. Faculties are highly knowledgeable and supportive.
I am persuing bcom and i like the quality of education. Curriculum are updated and we have all the information regarding our course. Also, what i study makes me responsible and job ready. The only modification point is course can be changed every year to make it more knowledgeable.
The placement opportunities provided are quite pleasant. With the quality of education they provide, each one of us are independent enough and many of us got placed in good companies with decent package. This was only possible because of faculties support.
My course bcom cost me 1.5lakhs INR a year and yes i am getting my money's worth as placements offered are quite good. Also, they provide us all the facilities and make us independent. Everything here is good and Yes i am satisfied.
It is a big campus with all the luxury. You can have fun and spend time in canteens, library and art gallery. Also, you can engage yourself in socities and clubs like yuva, dramebaaz and can enhance your skills.
The pd sessions held increase your confidence level and the activities are fun. You can have an enjoyable time during events and fest. Also, the college is very safe and you can safily enjoy in a healthy environment.
Yes, my college has all the necessary equipments, have a good infrastructure and a clean environment. Most of the classrooms are centralised and well maintained with all the facilities like projector, smart boards. Wifi is also there but it doesn't work so well and food available is usually not of standard quality.
I am studying bcom hons because at that time I feel there is a need for more teachers in the country but after coming to Amity, i realize it doesn't make me job-ready as the subjects are not modified and course is repeated every year.
The worst thing is Amity doesn't provides placement to even 25% students whereas it promised to give 90% placements. Also, the 2-3 students who hardly got an average placement is because of their hard work and not because of teachers were supportive.
I feel like my fees 75000₹INR is being wasted by me as Amity doesn't give back my money's worth. Also, neither the education quality is improvee, nor the placement rate is high; moreover many times, the food service is also bad.
There are many socities and clubs in which a student can engage himself but to be honest, they don't take you in on your talent basis. They are biased and only take you in if you are a friend of any of the socities members. During fest, the teachers ask you to maintain discipline and don't let you have fun. College is in panchgaon and it is safe.
The worst issue is yet to be discussed and that is your attandance issue which you need to maintain at75% else you would be debarred. Also, there are biased Marshalls who only fight with girls and don't say anything to boys. Moreover, at main gate boys can get entry again and again but if you are a girl you are not permitted to do so.
College infrastructure is very good , with a modern designing , several canteens , many auditorium , and fancy furnuiture on the corners of Amity , also there's a huge tree setup kind of thing also known as banyan tree , the hostel mess is also very well established along with a tasty and delicious food. Alsi , there is a setup of cafe coffee day which serves yumm coffee and related beverages . Then a deja brew , this is currently the most popular spot as a canteen for student , etc.
Academically , me being a student of bachelor's in clinical psychology has very prominent faculty with good and ideally presence of all the skills that professors should have. They also provide us with a full furnished library , along with an excess to online digital library , there are numerous virtaul study along with normal study.
The placement depends on the quality of knowledge you share so we in psychology department are getting a good quality of education hence placement us also guaranteed for sure. Also , I feel lucky that Amity is providing withthe clinical psychology course.
The money they charge is quite less comparative to the other colleges and facilities they provide so I feel lucky to be the part of this university.
Campus Life is amazing with an amazing hostel faculty , hostel facilities are nice with the divisions of different suites , guest house , normal room , also the amity is a great experience one should enjoy atleast once in their life.
Amity is a visions and a journey that you must be part of , it doesnot only provide degree but also the qualities for interview and it groom for your better future .
Yes, my college has all the necessary equipments, a good and well-maintained infrastructure, and facilities are very helpful and knowledgeable. Classrooms are well maintained, neat and tidy. WiFi works well with a good speed and there are separate hostels for boys and girls with proper security.
I am doing Bba from Amity because I feel there is a high need for managers in future. Quality of teaching is good. Teachers taught us in a way we can learn and understand, various means like ppt, online classes are used to teach us. Curriculum are always updated and subject course is modified.
Quality of placement is appreciated. This year i got a placement of ₹3.2lakhs INR a year and as beginning I think it is a good start. Some of my friends got placed too in college recruitment. Teachers are very supportive and helpful during the time of placement.
My course bba cost ₹1.7lakhs INR a semester. Yes i am getting my money's worth as i have got a decent placement, also some of my friends have been recruited too. The infrastructure is also good and for the facilities they provide, this fee is a must.
Amity have an amazing campus. It provides you an opportunity to interact with students belonging to different background and culture. Also, the teachers are supportive and there are many activities student can engage themselves in. I was a member of yuva debate society and it has enhance my communication skills. My college is in panchgaon and it is completely safe.
You can have fun withbyour friends during the time of fest, allumi meet, sports events, or in time of industrial visit. We learn a lot from educational tours and from different socities and pda sessions we enhance our innerself.
Amity university has all the necessary equipment, have a good infrastructure and facilities are well educated. Classrooms are highly maintained, neat and tidy; also are quite spacy and is central ac. Wifi doesn't works well nor the canteen provides you healthy food options.
I am persuing bba because i think there is a high need of managers in upcoming future. The quality of education they provide is average as they don't improve the quality of teaching and the course is repeated every year.
To be very honest, amity doesn't provide high packages as they promised. From my batch only 4students got placed in campus recruitment with an average package of ₹3.25lakhs INR a year. Teachers don't help students during placement time and a very few companies show on to recruit students.
My course cost ₹1.5lakhs INR a sem. No, i am not getting a proper worth of my money. I believe the quality of education needs to be improve and there are chances of modification in practical teaching as well.
Only the best thing Amity provides you is the best campus life. It's a huge campus spread in 110acres. You can enroll yourself in so many socities and social clubs like seva samiti, sports club etc. You came across students and teachers from different background and culture and experience their traditions. My college is in panchgaon and is completely safe.
There are matters that need to be highly resolved- 1) the attandance issue- maintaing a 75% attendance is compulsory oyherwise you can't give your exams. 2) wifi issue- the wifi doesn't work well even after paying so much fees, even some areas do not provide network at all. 3) things outside academics needs to be given importance.
My college has all the necessary equipments, have a good infrastructure and well qualified and professional facilities. Most of the classrooms are lecture theatre types and every block has their personal auditoriums. Central library is an amazing library with all the books available and wifi also works well.
I am studying Bcom hons because i feel there is a need for more teachers in the future. Quality of teaching is okay but i feel it can be improved. Also, the curriculum needs to be improved because every year the same course matter is repeated and nothing new is taught to students.
College provides average package placements. Not many companies show on and the highest package provided to bcom student is 3.5lakhs INR per year. Although, the faculties are very supportive and helpful, the university needs to improve placements offered.
My course Bcom cost 1.5lakhs INR a year amd no I am not getting my money's worth as the college does not provides nice placement opportunities for students. Also, the course is repeated and the projects are copy paste by students which doesn't make a student knowledgable.
The worst part of Amity is you have to maintain 75%attandance. Also, if you went out of the college for once, you can't enter again. The best features include the fest time, sports activities and other literature and cultural activities in which a student can enroll himself. My college is in panchgaon and it is completely safe.
The Amity University provides you various experiences like there is an Art gallery, central library, labs. You can be a part of Military camp organised by University. Also, there are various sports you can engage yourself in.
THE COLLEGE IS A BIT SECLUDED FROM THE CITY SO EVEN THOUGH ITS CLEAN BUT NIT THAT SAFE SPECIALLY FOR GIRLS . INSIDE THE CAMPUS IS IT BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN. THE COLLEGE HAS BIG CLASSES WITH PROJECTORS AND LABORATORIES WITH MANY EQUPIMENTS. WE ALSO HAVE A GOOD LIBRARY, MANY CAFETERIAS, AND HOSTELS FOR BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS.
THE TEACHERS ARE THE BEST PART OF THE COLLEGE. THEY ARE REALLY QUALIFIED AND HELPFUL. THEY COME FROM SOME OF THE BEST INSTITUTIONS. THE CURRICULUM IS ALSO EASY TO FOLLOW AND COVERS ALL TOPIC NEEDED FOR OUR HIGHER ENTRANCE EXAMS LIKE CSIR NET
ONLY ABOUT 30% STUDENTS GET PLACED AND OTHER GETS INTERNSHIPS. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE IS GOOD AND GOES UPTO 20 LPA. THE AVERAGE SALARY IS ABOUT 4-5 LAKHS PER ANNUM. MOST OF THE STDENTS THOUGH GO FOR HIGHER STUDIES .
The college has big campus surrounded by mountains and trees. The college has an amazing infrastructure with 4 buildings for each departments . The whole campus has wifi connectivity. We have a big library with many books. The college also has many cafeteria with delicious food.
I am studying bcom hons as i want to do mba after that. The teaching us good but the crowd is not that good. The curriculum is updated and student friendly. The teachers try to help us with both academics and our future career options.
The placements is okayish . It is good for the students who have potential in them. About 40% students get placements. Some students also get internships in the companies. The average salary given is about 4-5 LPA and the highest salary our senior got was 14 LPA
Yeah the college is value for money as its has pretty decent academics and infrastructure. But only placements needs to be improved
The campus life is good but the crowd needs to be improved
Dear Sadaf,
Yes I mean Amity University (especially Noida campus) offers decent LLB placements of Rs 5-6 LPA and top firms like Deloitte and Khaitan & Co recruiting.
Kolkata campus has lower placements. Good for private law college, but NLUs are better.
Ok then BEST OF LUCK!!!
Hi Aspirant
Amity University offers admission to BTech programs through two major pathways which are the Amity Joint Entrance Exam and JEE Main score submission The rank needed in JEE Main to secure a seat in Amity depends on several key factors including the year of admission the demand for the course the campus you choose and your category status such as General OBC SC or ST
In general Amity University is known for offering flexible admission policies and also has its own entrance exam for students who may not have a competitive rank in JEE Main However for students applying through JEE Main the university does consider your rank and percentile as part of their selection process especially for popular courses like Computer Science Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology
For the General category candidates a rank within the range of fifteen thousand to forty thousand in JEE Main is typically competitive for getting admission into high demand courses at the Noida campus This range is considered good enough to be eligible for merit scholarships as well The higher your rank the better your chances of securing a seat in core branches like Computer Science
For OBC category students the acceptable rank can go up to fifty thousand or slightly higher depending on the course and campus chosen Students from the SC and ST categories have additional relaxation in admission criteria and may secure admission even with a rank up to sixty five thousand or more for some branches and campuses
Students applying under the EWS category usually fall under similar consideration as the OBC group and a rank under fifty thousand may be sufficient for certain courses although more competitive branches like Computer Science still require better scores
Another important point is the availability of scholarships which is directly linked to your JEE percentile Students with ninety percentiles and above in JEE Main are often considered for tuition fee waivers ranging from twenty five to one hundred percent based on the percentile achieved The scholarship can be a major deciding factor for students and makes a strong JEE score valuable even if you are admitted without it being strictly required
Besides JEE rank students can also gain admission through their class twelve marks with an eligibility requirement of at least sixty percent aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics Some campuses and branches may require higher cutoffs depending on the demand
Amity also considers extracurricular activities and personal interviews for final admission decisions in some cases This means that even if a student's JEE rank is not very high they may still be offered a seat based on overall profile
In case you do not meet the cutoff for your desired branch in the first round it is advisable to consider applying for newer or related branches like Artificial Intelligence or Internet of Things as they usually have slightly lower cutoff ranks but are still in high demand.
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks for Non-Sponsored category (45–50% for Sponsored). Final-year students can apply provisionally, submitting degree proof by October 31. Specialized MBA programs (e.g., Data Science, IT) may require relevant degrees like Engineering or Statistics with 50% marks.
Entrance Exams : Valid scores from CAT (85 percentile), MAT (650 for Non-Sponsored, 600 for Sponsored), XAT (85 percentile), CMAT (200), GMAT (550), or NMAT (250 for Non-Sponsored) are required. Alternatively, candidates can take the Amity Written Test.
Selection Process : Shortlisted candidates undergo Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Some campuses may include essay writing to assess communication and analytical skills.
