Amity's infrastructure is really good. As the campus is really big with almost all the facilities available for students we have departments for all streams. The campus provides all facilities like indoor and outdoor sports, libraries.
Academics in Amity is fine as teachers are supportive and helpful. But the faculty changes as per odd and even semester. Also the academics schedule is uploaded on time and in advance. Amity also provides students business language and coaching for higher studies.
Placement in Amity is not bad as generally good students are placed with good students. Also the average ctc in some departments is 8 to 10 lakhs per anum. Placements in my department is based on performance as a student needs to have good academics score to seat for placements.
my course fees is 92500 per semester. the fees is fair amount according to the given resources of Amity.
Good.
The amity campus is very big with many departments. students can access all the facilities if they are enrolled here. also amity provides many types of sport facilities and indoor games facilities so that they can express there talent in every field. according to me infrastructure is really good.
academics in amity is decent as some department are doing exceptionally well. where as some departments students are not at all serious. also the amity provides various courses to choose from and teaches students extra business languages also.
placement in amity is fine as a student needs to be excellent in academics to get good placement. companies generally visit amity noida for search of some good students. some good companies like wipro, icici bank, hdfc bank, flipkart visit the campus.
Yes our college is fully equipped with labs and projector rooms . It has 3 big libraries many a port facilities are available. Wifi is free in the campus . All the living spaces are hygiene and clean .
I am pursuing bba ib in artificial intelligence. My course us a dual speaciality. Yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development. Yes my academics will make me job ready in the industry field
The college placement cell in Amity University is excellent and provides 90% placements to all the students . Packages range from 12 lakhs - 20 lakhs depending on the person Our college is extremely supportive
The infrastructure of Amity is one of the best but for the Food of canteen, I can't say with suriety how hygienic it is. My Department don't have a smartboard. We had to ourselves install the projector after taking it from the department office. The labs of AINST are also decent. I hope they probably have an accelerator one day but this solely depends in the hands of the VC. The department has to be profitable for them to make them invest in it but that is not the case.
Some teachers were one of the best in the AINST. For me they were like Tridev. They were vey knowledgeable and very supportive. But for others it wasn't the case. Some will just put hurdles in your way.
There is no placement in AINST as they don't have connections with corporates who work in this domain. I have been fortunate to find an off campus job on my own. I would recommend that you should atleast keep a CGPA above 8 for you to find opportunity for higher studies abroad or a job in few companies like ATKINS, SDS Life Science, Nuvia India etc. The other option is appearing for the BARC OCES exam. It wasn't my cup of tea but it could be yours if you love appearing for Objective exams.
One can find everything here. From swimming pool to big eating outlets like subway, dominos etc. You can find a arcade (for playing games like ice hockey, snooker etc.). Gymnasium is also there. So it is more like a resort than a college :D. But I don't understand what's the point; like they can easily use the fees they get for other purposes.
Faculties are useless with no practical knowledge and it is true even for its most overhyped CSE branch, so you have to study on your own. Attendance system is pathetic. Attendance gets blocked after 24hrs and after that nobody can do anything. Even if your attendance is 74.99% or exact 75% you'll be debarred from giving examinations. So your attendance should be 75.001%. Also you have to study a foreign langauge every semester which I guess is not there in any other university.
Placements are a kind of fake and are attractive from outside only. They say 100% placements which is not there even in the top IITs. They have built a nice BRAND to trick people through their advertisements.
They need to improve their admission criteria. Just bring 85% in class 12th and you get direct admission. No competition, nothing!!!
Yes, my college has all necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. The facilities provided are good amount of books in libraries, really good sports centres which includes tennis court football ground. Hostel has a really good wifi. Luving spaces are clean and food is hygienic also.
I am studying Ba(hons) Econ. The quality of teaching is marvelous. I think my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent drvelopments in the field. Instead of study they improve our communication and teach us according to current trents.
The placements are really good at my college. Around 90% of students were placed. I found out 30 lakh was the highest package for m tech. Average salary was around offered 4-5 lakh.My college waa supportive.
Yes, our college is equipped with all the latest facilities like wifi camera, smart classrooms etc. All the equipment are well maintained. there are many different sports activities on the campus. Yes living and food hygiene is maintained
I am studying BBA in International Business. All my professors are highly educated and have good knowledge about the subject. Every year the curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in my field.
Amity University guarantees you a 100% placement after their course. The minimum package offered are 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest salary last year went upto 15 lakhs per annum. Yes our college is very supportive
My course is 11 lakhs for 3 years
Good wifi system and well built infrastructure is offered in Amity University. There is a big library for students in the middle of the university and also there is fun zone for students called arcadia where students can take a break and play games.
Well qualified faculties have been alloted. I’m a commerce student and I’ve learned a lot more than commerce in my college. They have also provided us with subjects like behavioural science and foreign business language which are compulsory subjects.
Due to the pandemic, the companies didn’t come up with a decent offer. The placement procedure is still on going. The average salary being offered is around ₹2.5 lakh per annum. Due to the pandemic the seats offered are limited so the selection has been difficult for certain students.
As per my course and given resources by the college, the fee was of fair amount
Campus life is actually very nice. They are very supportive of different activities like sports and games. They also have a tournament for it which goes on for more than a month. In my second year I also went to Military Training Camp which is an optional course provided by the university.
My college experience was good but it could’ve been better if I got to study there for the whole 3 years but I couldn’t because of the pandemic.
it has a lush green campus. there is a 5 acres modern sport complex with facilities for a tennis court cricket field football ground etc. Student centric facilities like ATMs salon food plaza medical room are also available.
Faculty members are educated and experienced. Our college has all sorts of teachers including amazing good and a few not that good. Faculty members support everyone a lot. Overall it the best combination for a private university.
There are 100% placemnts in Amity. the highest package last year was 28 lpa. Their average package is 7 LPA. and the lowest being 3 LPA. The top companies coming to amity are amazon and google. most students get very good internships.
Infrastructure is the only positive thing in college The college has a good cafeteria and a huge playground...also there is an area called as Arcadia where people play games although that's paid but its sometimes a good place to spend time
Teachers are pretty slow and they just read out the ppts.they just want to finish the course and want you to do the assignments and the Mark's are usually given with a lot of biasness...but ...its not.good
Like most of the private colleges the placement is poor of an average of 3-4 lpa.most of the students try for off campus placement and many go for further higher studies only few fo for jobs but you have to perform and outclass everyone to get a job of a 2 digit lpa salary
Amity University (especially Noida, the main campus) is far more recognized globally and nationally, with better brand value, exposure, placements, research opportunities, and infrastructure. It’s good if you’re looking for a degree with wide recognition in India and abroad.
Sapthagiri (College of Engineering / University, Bangalore) is more of a regional choice, good for students in Karnataka who want a decent education at a lower fee structure (compared to Amity) with local placements.
Conclusion:
If your priority is brand recognition, global exposure, and diverse opportunities, go for Amity.
Hello Sandeep,
Among the colleges you mentioned, JSS, Noida and Galgotias are considered better for B.Tech in CSE due to strong faculty, infrastructure, and placement records.
Amity Noida has good exposure but is more expensive. ABES is also a good option with decent placements. AKEG is comparatively less preferred. If placements and academics are your priority, JSS and Galgotias would be the top choices.
Dear aspirant,
The careers opportunities at Amity University can be good, but they largely depend on the campus, course, your skills, and how actively you engage during your studies . Since you have not mention which Amity campus you are referring to , but remember the Noida campus offers better placements compared to other Amity campuses. For CSE, Law management and mass communication placement records are decent, with top companies like TCS, Deloitte, Accenture and a few startups hiring students. But you have to keep in mind that it’s important to build strong projects, communication skills internship and networking. Amity gives you the platform, but the outcome depends a lot on your efforts.
