College infrastructure is superb. Its clean and well maintained with proper sanitation and air conditioners. However our classrooms do not have smart boards. And yes we face one problem in using the instruments for our experiments as they do not work properly. Many times error occurs and results shown are not accurate. This is the onmy issue in infrastructure and maintenance.
I am pursuing B.Sc so we don't get job immediately after the bachelor's degree. The problem here is that we lose interest in our subjects as teachers are not very enthusiastic and we can't really relate it to our real life. Teachers just come and deliver the lecture and show no botheration about us if we understood or not. Teaching methodology here is providing us with notes and mugging up everything a day before exam .
Amity assures 100% placements. Although mine is not a professional degree course, so i believe it is difficult to get a job directly after this. However for professional courses, 80-90% placements are recorded.
Fee for my course is approximately 120000/- per year. I don't think i am getting my money's worth here as per the quality of education. 9 to 5 classes regularly. College debarres you if attendance is short. However the department works systematically and maintains discipline throughout.
The campus is huge but I don't find a suitable campus life here. Daily routine is fixed with 9 to 5 classes and no extra curricular is promoted. Other departments do give exposure to students but no such case in ours teachers are highly qualified but they are all doctorates and not have much experience in teaching. They fail to impart wisdom and knowledge to us. Only through notes do we learn. A few are good though. Location is fine.
overall infrastructure is good, separate department for different courses. Very clean and advanced biotech labs and computer labs as well. lectures halls are spacious enough. washrooms available at every floor with good hygiene. cafeteria place is big enough with many different cafes to hang out.
my course was dual integrated program (B.TECH + M.TECH) in biotechnology, the faculties were very good and sincere. They were ready to help at any time. There were events, seminars and competitions related to our course on the weekly basis, which gave us a platform to gain more knowledge and extra curriculum activities as well.
placement is average, but better than some other private companies. The college doesn't care about where you are getting placed, they just want you to get placed. I have seen many people after doing B.tech in computer science or Biotech end up getting a job in sales. There is a lot of competition and very less pick up by the good companies.
Amity University, Noida is known for its infrastructure having everything you ever think of. All the smart classes are well equipped to provide digital platform. The library is huge and hostels are very good.
Amity Global business school is one of the college providing masters within university. At AGBS, I have chose dual specialisation in HR and marketing. The curriculum is always updated and both academic as well as real life situations are taught.
Placement are an important factor to judge a college. Here at AGBS, the placement salary packages are comparatively less but are 100%. College supports totally to every study individually with no exceptions but are not pleasant sometimes.
It's 8L for the whole MBA course i.e. 2 years. MBA is much costlier in other colleges. But still the hard earned money can just be calculated when placement return rate is good. So 2020 is a tough year.
Campus life is very good as there are various eating joints and sports activities in which students can take part and the location of the college is good and safe emergencies can be handled easily.
Currently I am in my 2nd year of MBA. due to the due to the pandemic in 2020 we are getting online classes but I will appreciate my faculty for adapting this change. It would have been better if the situations but different it but we are still going good.
The college is good, the campus is attractive and clean. The college's environment is great. Yes labraries and all the stuffs are well maintained. Yes clean living spaces and food are hygienic. These are not the facts of worry.
I'm studying Bachelor in Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication. The quality of teaching is average at Amity Noida. Yes somewhat updated but more focuse should be given on that perspective and some techniques should be changed.
The placement cell is average I would say. The fees we pay is higher than the package student's get. I haven't appeared for the placement yet I'm in my middle of my course so don't have much idea about the placement of my course particularly.
Not value for money according to me.
The campus is awesome, the atmosphere is good the best thing is it's a ragging free campus.
The college is good but it's not for the onevwho come from middle class background as the fee structure is very high of the various courses.
The infrastructure at Amity is very good. The classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Can easily accommodate 60 students. I have completed BCA and the labs were super good with latest hardwares and softwares. The central library of Amity is excellent and gives student a great exposure to a huge sea of knowledge. There is free Wifi. Each block in the campus has a good cafeteria, apart from one major Central cafeteria. The entire campus is well maintained and is kept neat and clean
The faculty was knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum however could have been a bit more diverse. They also offer certifications in tie up with various organisations time to time. The teaching pedagogy is good and understandable. The assignments and activities are more practical based than theoretical.
The placement cell at Amity for BCA can improve in terms of the number of students getting placed. The moto of 100 percent placement is a myth. Around 60 percent of students in my class were placed with an average of 4 to 5 lpa. There were recruiters from abroad as well. I personally did not appear for placements as had plans to study further.
The fee structure at amity and other expenses are a little heavy on a pocket. The fee was approx. 75K per semester, approx 4.5 Lacs for the entire course. Plus the travelling and other expenses made at the college. If you are looking for a Job at the end of the course, it could be a little disappointing, although it completely depends upon your capabilities to fetch a job and claim worth of every penny spent.
The campus life at Amity is awesome. Its a huge campus with lots of things to do. There is a huge library, bowling arcade and snooker tables. There are good and immense amount of sports equipment and facilities. Cafeterias are loaded with branded vendors and are a good place to chill with your friends.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE
Amity university, Noida campus provides world class infra and amenities. The lecture halls are air-conditioned and spacious. The entire campus is neatly maintained and well planned. There is a free wifi facility. Sports centre is very good and they do conduct all India sports meets which gives opportunity to lot of students to showcase their talent. There is ample amount of greenery in the campus. All the blocks have all amenities. Amity also has a very good student intranet portal.
Academics is one area where the college can improve a bit, although they have faculties who are market professionals and have good amount of experience in their respective fields, however they lack the teaching experience. They might be enriched with knowledge but their teaching pedagogy would not transmit the same to students. The library at amity is probably one the best...and hours together can be spent .
Amity MBA general does deliver a very promising placement offers. I had done MBA in insurance and the avg placement for my branch was 6-7 lpa where in the highest was 11 lpa. The placement cell at my branch ASIBAS had good market reach. MBA general placement cell does manage to get good companies onboard and majority students get placed despite high number of students in MBA general.
I would say amity is slightly overpriced in terms of their tuition fee, however still not a bad option depending upon the variety of courses they offer with a good infrastructure campus
Campus life is great at amity as there are huge cafeteria with all good food joints affiliated. There are great fests that are held every year. There are a lot of other co curricular activities that you may take part in. The incubator at amity allows lot of young entrepreneurs to explore their ideas. Overall i would rate campus life 8/10, as parking and some portion of the overall college crowd being the negative part
They are all really good but if they could just increase their level on their events in college, it would be great. i love iit otherwise, its just great and it's usually all clean too. it's deserving.
They teach well but if they could just broaden their horizons and implement the learning more, that would be good. they focus more on books and marks. the teachers dont help out students much when it comes to emotional help.
There is 100% placement but the quality wouldn't be that good. they say its good but the rest would be known when i sit there for it myself. otherwise i think its a great college and i would recommend it to everyone i know
It's good until now but the real worth would be known when we get into the real world. i think its a great college and no matter what i dont regret it after getting into it and i would definitely recommend others like i have.
It's good except for hygiene in some places, its dirty and not well maintained. its fun and crazy and welcoming. and i love to enjoy around the campus, its very accepting and enjoyable. i love it totally.
It's a great college, they accept and help you improve and rise no matter what. i think anyone coming here would ever hate this college except for the fact that they vocals are more and implementation slight less.
Classrooms are nice, labs are well equipped and library is also good. The classroom of old departments are quite old but it will work. Full camps is air conditioned. Water is purified but sometimes its not. Washrooms are good in new departments.
If you want to study they will help else they won't care. Faculty is good and selfish but skilled. Most of the staff is from amity itself and some from Iit. Other staff include visiting faculty and guest teachers.
The placement cell and CRC is working very well and most of the students get placements but sometimes it not according to their wish, so amity keeps them with the university itself and therefore many faculty is from amity itself.
Few things are overpriced, thats why its amity. They have their own salon and gym which charge high charges which are not justified. But students have no option but to buy from them . Food is also not good as compared to price.
Campus life is only thing which is best in amity and I think everyone once a while should enjoy with friends. Its safe and secure. Warden are little strict for juniors but as friend for seniors. Others things also go on as well.....
Infrastucture is very good of Amity University. All new and well made. They have high tech labs, equipments , projectors, apple mac lab also ,for games they have basket ball ,tennis , volleyball ,cricket ,badminton ,swimmingpool and other more activities.
Teachers are very well acquired with a great knowledge and teaching skills .some are from various Nit, IIt and they have very great skills and knowledge to teach and guide the students ,the teachers are very helpful to help stydents in various events
placements are good But not as students want. as the minimum package for btech is 3-5lakhs from amity. University has to bring more good companies so that pachage should be a bit more like 10-15 lakhs should be average
Ya it is value for money a student invest during their degree
It is amazing when i talk about campus life
University is best for the students to persue their degree
Amity University Noida is spread over a large area and has all the facilities needed by a student. There is a huge library for students to which offers a quiet atmosphere for studying . All the classrooms have ACs and well maintained seating arrangements and Wi-fi connectivity is spread all over the campus. You can choose any sport and amity provides all the equipments and facilities for it. The living spaces are perfectly neat & clean . The cafeterias have the best food for students honestly.
I am studying Btech (CSE) in Amity and honestly the faculties at amity are very supportive and helpful. They are extremely experienced in their field . The curriculum is first reviewed by an expert committee which makes sure that only the best course structure is provided to the stude nts. Recently Amity has introduced the Industry 4.0 system in the curriculum which helps students to get all courses available need by the industry in this modern time. so curriculum is relevant and knowledgeful.
Amity has a separate placement cell for students i.e. ATPC. Well-reputed companies come every year to offer placements like HCL, IBM, WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc. The highest package offered is 30-35 LPA and the average package offered is 3.5 LPA. The students have to maintain their CGPA above 7 to sit for the placements and above 8 to go for well-known renowned companies. The placement process is simple and the college placement cell is very supportive. Maximum all students got placed in Amity.
Honestly, Amity University Noida is very expensive. I am a hosteler so it is very much expensive for me. The academic fees is Rs. 160000 per semester and the academic fees increases every year by 5%. The hostel fees is Rs. 85000 (Non-AC) and Rs.160000 (AC). But the quality of education and the facilities provided by the amity are worth a lot and so by studying in this college is getting my money's worth. The exposure we get and the interaction with various industry experts is really very helpful
The campus life at amity is really enjoyable. One can get all sports facilities with fully equipped courts. Also it has a swimming pool. There is also a small clinic inside the campus with a doctor for check-up which is free for students with services of ambulance for critical patients in case of any emergency 24*7. The hostel administrative staff and the faculties very helpful and supportive . Also the students does not faces any problem as the campus is Ragging-free.
Overall AMITY University Noida is the best college with more practical exposure to the students. Events and fests are organised in the college regularly . Amity organises a big fest named as AMITY YOUTH FEST in month of january-february with a great and a big bollywood celebrity in the college. Many competitions are held at national and international levels. Also the students can write their research papers on various technical topics and they get proper guidance from faculties .
