    Review of Amity University, Noida

    College Infrastructure

Our college infrastructure is really nice and beautiful. Labs have all the necessary equipments, however, computer labs can have better computers as some don't even work (For ex- If there are 30 PCs in a lab then around 20 of them would be working). Some lecture halls are amphitheatre type and some are normal classrooms. All of them are equipped with projectors,ACs and WiFi.

    Academics

I am studying B.Tech (CSE) and its a 4 year course. The quality of teaching is really good. The curriculum gets updated every year to include the all the industry requirements and hence, train students to become job ready. Faculties are helpful and caring as well.

    Placements

I haven't sat for placements myself yet as I am still in 2nd year but I have heard from my seniors and the general feedback that placement ratio at Amity University is good and quite many MNCs come for recruitment. Average salary that students can get is around 5 lakhs.

    Value for Money

The cost for my course is quite high and can go upto 3.5 lakhs per year. Certain improvments can be made in all the parameters to justify the high cost.

    Campus Life

Campus life is great at Amity. They have great food outlets such as Dominos, Subway etc and many activities for students to engage in. Events are organised regularly in the campus.

Amity College placement is quite high as compare to other colleges many big MNCs came with the job letter for students last year and in future they will provide good jobs. Moreover almost 60% students gets the placement in different MNCs. Average Package offered by them is almost 5-6 lakh per year.

My overall experience at Amity was amazing and intriguing.

    College Infrastructure

Amity University Noida campus is a remarkable example of great Infrastructure. One can find everything on campus premises, from eating joints such as Subway and Domino's to great Wifi coverage on the whole campus grounds. For Hostlers there is even a utility store WH Smith where one can find all the basic amenities. The Central Library is an epitome of excellence. Hygiene is one of Amity's major concern and they focus on providing a clean and well maintained environment for the students.

    Academics

I am a student of the English department at Amity University Noida which goes by the name, Amity Institute of English Studies and Research(AIESR), over my time of 3 years at this department never once have I felt the need of having more as the teachers are extremely helpful and have great knowledge about their subjects. The curriculum is very intriguing and is updated according to the latest guidelines. For 6 semesters the students will always have exposure to new genres.

    Placements

Placement at Amity University are satisfactory and it mostly depends on the course as well as on the department you are studying in. Each and every department has a Placement cell which brings organisations and companies in for the students and guide them throughout the whole act of placement. The stipend offered is largely dependent on the company's policy but Amity's placement rate has been consistently good over the past few years.

    Value for Money

B A English Hons is a very cost effective course The fees for the first sem includes a security fee. But check the fee details in the University guidelines before you apply for any course.

    Campus Life

Amity takes a high interest in the activities outside academics and encourages the students to do the same. There is Sangathan, an annual sports event and an AYF (Amity Youth Fest) .

Our library is big and beautiful and it have all the books that are required.Laboratories in this are very well organised and have all the required facilities. We have many sports facilities in the college.Hostels are also available for the students and they are very neat and clean.

    Academics

I am in IT engineering and all my professors are highly educated and they have also got experience in teaching. We have strict attendance system that is to be followed and it is 75%.Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

    Placements

We have an active placement cell and i will say it is very active but the problem is that there all campuses placements are done together in our campus, which reduces the chances of placements. The average salary package is approx 3.5 lakhs per annum.

    Value for Money

My course is costing me approx 3 lakhs every year and it includes hostel charges also.I really do not feel worth studying here.

    Campus Life

    Best private University in India

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college campus is spread over approximately the area of a village in the main Noida. The campus infrastructure is one of the best in the country. Amity has large playgrounds, clean classrooms equipped with advance boards, laboratories equipped with modern equipment, and all the best facilities one can think of.

    Academics

The syllabus is updated regularly and kept according to the industry standards. The administration authorities are very strict about studies, attendance and exams. Teachers are very knowledgeable. But the workload is too much.

    Placements

Placements are outstanding. Almost all the big companies come to the campus for placements. The placement ratio is very good. The highest package can go as high as 1 crore and the average package is also very good, above 10 lakhs.

    Value for Money

The fee is too much. Its one of the most expensive colleges of the country. Mostly, rich students study here. But the facilities provided are also really good.

    Campus Life

A lot of extracurricular activities are organized regularly in the campus. A lot of competitions are organized regularly. Campus life is really enjoyable.

    Others

Though the fee is too high, but the placements and facilities are the best.

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is amazing.Class furniture is clean and comfortable. Classes are spacious. But sometimes classes are not regularly cleaned. WiFi facility is very good. Food served everywhere is hygienic but too expensive also.

    Academics

Quality of teaching is very Good. Proper notes of each lecture are provided by the teachers. All faculty members have a good knowledge of their subjects. Lectures are not that boring due to usage of presentations.

    Placements

Don't know much about it. I'm in second semester so I don't know much about placements. As per reviews, ranking, and by seniors placements offered are very well. More than 100 companies come to university for proving jobs to students.

    Value for Money

Per sem fees of my course is 62K. As compared to other universities and colleges, it's worth giving such a big amount of fees. Most importantly studies is given importance unlike other universities and colleges.Faculty interaction with students is high.

    Campus Life

Campus life is quite cool. One can not be bored hanging out alone. There's a very amazing arcadia. There are number of games to play with your friends. Moreover a chilly place to fill ur tummy. Gym facility is also available for students.

Amazing infrastructure. They have smart boards in class and wifi availability. The sports centre and hostels are amazing. There are many fun activities you can do around the college- game area. The library is really big and has all materials.

    Academics

Amity University is well known. The staff is amazing. Teachers are thorough with their subject. Quality of teaching is A+. I m studying LLB and the course is really interesting due to the support of amazing teachers.

    Placements

Placements overall in Amity university is really good. Top companies come here for recruitment. However for LLB there’s not a lot of companies that recruits but there’s ample amount of chance for someone to get placed if they have cgpa maintained and good CV.

    Value for Money

The fees is little bit costly but it’s worth the facility provided by the college. The infrastructure is amazing and the administration is also quick to respond. There’s an online app to monitor the attendance and marks of every student. This way students are updated.

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is unbeatable. You can find all kinds of sports centres and food outlets in there. Classes have smart boards, the college in general is very well maintained. The canteen food is very hygienic too.

    Academics

I'm studying tourism because that field interests me. I've never been able to mug up things so I think this field requires the use of practical knowledge. The quality of teaching is also pretty good. It all depends on the teacher though, the set of teachers I have makes it very convenient for me to understand.

    Placements

I've never sat for placements as such because I'm a first year but I have heard that they are outstanding. We have various workshops to train us for the placement procedures too. Year by year, I think I will get better at other skills.

    Value for Money

Yes, it is totally worth the money. The teachers, the facilities, and everything is all worth the money. I chose Amity because I wanted to get more practical experience and think I'm getting it in here.

    Campus Life

The campus life is just the best! One cannot even explain it. The students can engage in various sports clubs and even other clubs such as dramatics, music, dance, etc. It's just so exciting to go to college everyday!

Have a question related to Amity University, Noida ?

Hello, i want to ask about the honest review about btech in aerospace engineering at amity or mtech. Not the ones that are available on internet. I want a review by self experience pls help!!!!!!

    Hello Palak,

I don’t have personal experiences, but I can provide an honest review based on student feedback, faculty quality, placements, and industry exposure at Amity University for B.Tech/M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering .

    Pros:

    1. Decent Infrastructure – Well-equipped labs and research facilities for aerodynamics, propulsion, and materials.

    2. Good Faculty (Mixed Reviews) – Some experienced professors, but many are from general engineering backgrounds, not specialized in aerospace.

    3. Flexible Curriculum – Industry-oriented subjects and electives help in career development.

    4. Industry Tie-ups – Collaborations with ISRO, DRDO, and private aerospace companies like Boeing for projects.

      Cons:

    5. Placement Issues – Aerospace jobs are very limited . Most students switch to IT or general engineering roles due to fewer core job opportunities.

    6. High Fees (Rs. 3-4 LPA) – The return on investment (ROI) is low unless you secure an off-campus job.

    7. Lack of Hardcore Research – Not as strong as IITs or specialized institutes like IIST in terms of research in propulsion, avionics, or space tech .

    8. More Theoretical, Less Practical Exposure – You may need to do internships outside to gain hands-on experience.

      Verdict:
    • If you want to stay in India and work in aerospace , consider IIST, IITs, MIT Manipal, or UPES instead.

    • If you want a private university with decent exposure , Amity is fine , but you must plan for higher studies (M.Tech/MS abroad) or transition into software/IT for better opportunities.
