The placement cell at Goa University aims to provide guidance to students, particularly regarding emerging career opportunities, developing their soft skills, and bridging the gap between industry and academics, therefore acting as a liaison between industry and students. As per the reports of NIRF 2024, more than 225 students were with an average salary of Rs 5.69 lakhs with the help of Goa University placement cell in the year 2023.

The Goa University placement cell conducts training workshops to equip students with essential skills needed to excel in screening tests, group discussions, personal interviews, and other selection processes of numerous recruiters. The placement cell at Goa University, Taleigao Plateau also provides students with insights into current industry trends and provides networking opportunities to students by organising seminars and workshops. I am not sure about this because i have not graduated yet but my I saw my senior getting placement so it's good. They are working in a good company and they sems happy after getting placed in company.

Placements

Placements are one of the weakest areas here. For non-engineering and general courses like ours, there are barely any companies that come to campus. The placement cell isn’t very active, and most of us have to hunt for internships and jobs on our own. There’s almost no training or prep for interviews either, which is disappointing. This area definitely needs urgent attention if the university wants to stay competitive.

I haven't explored much about placements yet, so I can't comment on that part. I don't have much information about the placement process as I haven't personally experienced it yet. However, seniors say that some companies visit the campus

Goa University,Taleigao Plateau, Goa does not provide M.B.A course in Pharmaceutical Management. Goa University (GU) was established in 1985. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers admissions to various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. It offers facilities like computer centre, hostels, health centre, library, guest house, labs, classrooms, seminar halls, remote sensing lab.
