Biotechnology is a field of biology that involves the application of living organisms and bioprocesses in technology, engineering, medicine and various other fields involving the modern use of genetic engineering as well as cell and tissue culture technologies. This area of study covers a wide range of techniques for manipulating living organisms according to human needs. It also finds application in Veterinary Sciences and Agriculture. It emphasizes on bridging bio-sciences and engineering by interfacing with and utilizing living things.
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) PCB with 60% Marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
Admissions are done on Merit prepared on basis of (10+2)% / JEE Main Score.
The college has all necessary facilities and the infrastructure is also nice including good labs for the students . The classes are well furnished. Hostels are also good with all the amenities. I'm enjoying the experience here to be very honest.
