IIM Amritsar Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

This college is one of the fastest growing IIMs. The college has given most of the basic facilities like classroom, ground, library etc to it's students but not maintaining the IIM standards. So, it needs upgradation as students deserve better service after paying 15 to 17 lakhs fees.

Academics in IIM Amritsar is quite well structured as the both the permanent & visiting facilities are highly qualified and experienced. I'm in the core program & in my curriculum courses are very much industry relevant.

Placement of IIM Amritsar is quite streamlined process. The college stays very much dedicated to place the entire batch during the Placement season whether it's finals or summers. The Placement committee & the Placement chair support the students throughout this process.

Without permanent campus the campus life isn't that entertaining but hopefully by this year end, campus life can be observed from the permanent campus.

The college is currently operating from a temporary campus situated nearby the GNDU, in Govt polytechnic college. It has lesser no of classrooms & library also doesn't have sufficient place to accommodate all the people. When the permanent campus would be operational, this things hopefully will be addressed.

IIM Amritsar is known for it's academics rigor. The quality and the content of courses are really very good while maintaining the industry relevance. Students do get the access of various premium services like Grammerly, Statista etc. Professors are equipped with knowledge & experience.

Placement in this college is decent. The placement committee work really hard to bring new companies every year with exciting roles & opportunities. The students also work for better placement & participate in various case competitions. So, overall nice placement process.

IIM Amritsar as a baby iim is growing really fast but till date the college is not able to provide a permanent campus to the students which is very disappointing. Students have to avail buses everyday to attend classes & that becomes really hectic.

Academics of IIM Amritsar is quite top notch. The courses are designed in HR while keeping in mind the current practices in the industry. The professors are experienced and qualified, so no complaint form that side either.

Overall Placement is decent but specifically for HR domain it isn't that good. Students have to stay a little longer during pavement session to get placed. Though the placement committee tries their best to place every student in time.

The college doesn't have it's own campus. So in the temporary campus of the polytechnic college, the college doesn't have good classrooms, proper clean bathrooms etc. But some of the necessary amenities are provided though it needs improvement.

Academics of this college is really good. I'm studying MBA core here and I have taken general management in the 2nd year. So, the teaching quality is really good with highly qualified facilities. The curriculum is not that updated but it's getting improved every year.

Placements are not that good as it should be in an IIM. But as a new college it is trying very hard to bring companies like other emerging IIMs are trying to do. Also, the gender ratio & the workex - freshers ratio isn't stable which affects the placement to some extent.

The IIM Amritsar is in the budding phase so the college doesn't have all the facilities like all the other established older IIMs. But despite operating from the temporary campus it has provided the students most of their necessary infrastructural requirement like football & cricket ground with hostel, proper bus & shuttle service etc.

The professors are the main Perk of the college. I have finance major & many new concepts I have learnt from the courses & the professors were really helpful to clear out my doubts. The college has a very diverse set of visiting faculty also.

Most of MBA aspirants choose IIM Amritsar because of their exceptional placements figures. Though it is still in growing phase & has a lot of potential but the college is doing extremely good in the both their summer and final placements. Every year the CTC is growing on average by 10-15% with many new companies visiting the campus.

The college has quite a well maintained infrastructure quality though it doesn't have it's permanent campus. The smart classrooms with all the tech facilities, big sports grounds, library with wifi etc are basic facilities provided in the college.

The academics of this college is quite rigorous with detailed course outline & on an average 7 subjects in each term. There are total 6 terms & the college is quite strict when it comes to maintaining good grades. The facilities are also top notch with a lot of experience.

Placement of the college is one best among all the B Schools. The college is trying it's best to improve the existing Placement process to make it more enhanced. The students from different domain such as Core, BA, HR are given ample opportunity to get placed through the Placement process.

The fees should be lower to make it more affordable & value for money.

Campus life is quite exciting with so many events happening frequently with continuous students engagement.

IIM Amritsar currently operating from a temporary campus. So, the students has to travel in bus from Hostel to College. The infrastructure in the temporary campus is quite good with all the basic amenities are provided for the students.

IIM Amritsar provides a range of programs like MBA Core, MBA HR, MBA BA, EMBA etc. In each program the courses are designed in a particular way according to the specific student pool requirements. The facilities are extraordinary & provides a holistic knowledge about the subjects as well about the specific industries.

IIM Amritsar has track record of providing strong placements. But the placements vary from year to year depending on the market situation. The college has very systematic process for student to get placement & the authority makes sure the companies do visit the campus every year while offering multiple roles.

The college infrastructure of IIM Amritsar is decent. The college currently operating from a temporary campus which is under polytechnic college of Amritsar & there all the basic facilities are provided for the students. The permanent campus is under development & is about to be operational by 2024.

Academics of IIM Amritsar is one of best I have ever experienced. I'm studying core MBA/PGDM here & the subjects curriculum is designed in way that helps the students to gather industry relevant knowledge. The faculties are really helpful & experienced as well.

Placement in this college is quite good from the perspective of an emerging IIM. The prospects are really huge. The student pool every year coming to the college is quite diverse not only in terms of having different background but experience as well. So, it is a factor complimenting the placements.

Value for money component is good but it can be improved with better placements, Permanent campus & less fees.

The college is among India's one of the best business schools. right now it is operating from the temporary Though it is operating from the temporary campus but it has all the faculties that one can expect to have in an IIM. Whether it's good hostels, big smart classrooms or bigger grounds, all the amenities are present.

Academics of IIM Amritsar is one of the best with highly educated & experienced professors in the faculty. The courses are structured in way that it would benefit the students after getting in corporate with the required knowledge & skilleset.

Placements of this college is quite fascinating as many companies organised visit this college during placement season & students from various domains get placed in different roles. The package of the placement is also quite good & best when compared to the other new IIMs.

The fees is a bit higher as permanent campus yet to be operational but otherwise good.

The college has pretty good infrastructure despite only having the temporary campus like - ac classrooms, ac hostels, big grounds for different sports with all the other baisc facilities. The permanent campus can be operational any time sooner & with that the experience will much better.

The academics of IIM amritsar is quite unique. With very rigorous course structure & well experienced faculty the college has gained certain reputation in India. The faculties are very helpful and always look forward to solve students' queries at their best level to make them equipped with the required knowledge & skillset.

The placements of IIM amritsar is one of the nest among all the baby IIMs. The college is achieving new feats every year in placement figures in all the domains like MBA core, MBA hr & MBA BA. Last year (2021-23) the average salary was around 16.51 LPA & median was around 16 LPA.

With the iim brand value the course obviously provides the ROI. But fees can be lesser a little bit as it becomes a burden for a few students.

Campus life is very engaging & entertaining with so many student driven activities.

It is a very good College for pursuing MBA.
