Currently college is operating in a temporary campus. Students have to travel from hostel to campus everyday. There are 2 hostels which are 5 kms apart. The nearest hostel is 9-10 kms apart from the campus. The campus is inside Punjab University.

The academics is not only based on the exams but also based on class participation, quizzes, and assignments. The classes involve theoretical as well as relevant case discussion. The case discussion includes pre-reads as well.

Placements starts from September and most of the students get placed before January. Placements are managed by a student body called as placement committee. Placement committee operate with placement policies and infraction points.

It is overall a good college with various facilities & well-maintained infrastructure. The permanent campus is under construction & will be ready by the probably the next year, so that's obviously an upside. Overall Infrastructure is quite good.

Academics here are quite rigorous. The faculties are really good & most of them have done PhDs from eminent institutes like IIMs / IITs. Here, an MBA grad gets ample opportunity to not only learn key concepts from various courses but also get exposure regarding the industry through peer learning & other co-curricular as well as extracurricular activities.

Placements are one of the key factors why people prefer to pursue an MBA from IIM Amritsar with respect to other newer IIMs. Here, roles for multiple domains like - Marketing, Consulting, Sales, General Management, etc offered from reputed brands of different industries.

Overall an MBA degree that too from an IIM is good & the cost is also not much. So, it is obviously value for money.

The campus life overall is good. It could have been more exciting if provided a permanent campus but overall it isn't that bad also as with hostel there is enough place to play various games as well as organize different events which will provide a good experience of campus.

After entering college, as a fresher, I was clueless about what I should be doing to maximize my learning & get more industry exposure. The first semester was really rigorous but later on, everything became a little bit easier, or rather I should say I was able to adapt to the situation. It is quite an exciting journey with so many ups & downs. But that's life & I also learnt it from here.

Despite the temporary location, it offers essential facilities like a library, mess, game room, sports ground, wifi and hostels etc. The shift to a permanent campus promises improved infrastructure, including modern classrooms and advanced labs, enhancing the overall learning experience.

It is still a transit campus .Building of campus still under construction . It will take one more year for building to be built . Properly ac rooms and good benches and chairs . Properly digitally equipped classrooms.

You will get placements from here and you will be able pay loan of your fees and it is all about your hardwork that matters and play important role. It is all about dedicating 2 years of your life for learning

Decent college life with chill out with friends but you have to maintain a bit of time period because of busy classes and placement sessions . You will be in many conclaves that will make you learn a lot

Even being at the transit campus, IIM Amritsar has all the facilities which a student is looking for in a college. The hostels are one of the best in the country. The infrastructure is well maintained and perfectly hygienic.

The professors at IIM Amritsar are graduates and PhD holders from top IIMs, and thus the quality of teaching is at its best. Professors not only help in academic performance but also boost the individual personalities of the students.

The quality of placements is one of the best among new IIMs. IIM Amritsar is one of the fastest-growing third-generation IIM. The placement committee and the whole placement process are transparent and helpful.

IIM Amritsar has a great infrastructure and has all the facilities and equipments even though we don't have a permanent campus. We have big smart-classrooms, a big auditorium, large playground, parking area, clean and hygienic washrooms, a huge library, 24 hours high speed Wi-Fi both at campus and hostels. We have the hostel which has all the sports equipment, huge playground, gym and a canteen. Our hostel and campus are cleaned on regular interval. you will experience the best food at IIM Amr.

I am currently pursuing MBA at IIM Amritsar. I wanted to get the best experience and exposure of business before joining and IIM Amritsar gave me the best opportunity to develop best understanding about the business world. IIM Amritsar is one of the best IIMs when it comes to the curriculum part as our curriculum is regularly updated as per the changing scenario. we have the best faculties from the top institutes in India and abroad. The curriculum here has made each of its job-ready.

The college has always given 100% placements and has the best placement record among the other IIMs of same generation. As per the year 2021, 100% students got placed with an average package of 12.68 LPA, and the highest stood at 18.16 LPA and also the average package of top 25% of the batch went up to 15.94 LPA despite of the current scenario. The placement procedures are really simple and transparent and the institute helps each student with their placements by making job ready.

I paid 12 lac for the year 2020-22. It may vary each year. This institute has the best ROI as you can see an you will get the best experience and exposure. It is one of the fastest growing IIM so it worth spending this much.

You will experience the best campus life here at IIM Amritsar. Even though we don't have a permanent campus, we have the best hostel with big playgrounds, bigger rooms and all the required facilities. The campus never sleeps and you won't ever get bored as it always has to offer one or the other thing. It is located near by Amritsar airport and has the best connectivity. We have a doctor available at the hostel in case of any emergency.
