- B.E./B.Tech./AMIE or equivalent in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology (CS), Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE), Engineering Physics (EP) Energy Engineering (EN), Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Science & Engineering (MT), Instrumentation Engineering (IN).
- M.Sc. or equivalent in Electronics / Electronic Sciences (EL) Physics (PH).
- Candidates having two years of relevant work experience are exempted from the requirement of the GATE score.
