Hello soundar , From some research on internet I found that JIPMER is better than CMC because JIPMER is mostly equivalent to one of the AIIMS college and we all know that AIIMS are top ranked colleges of India so JIPMER is best.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Everyone knows both are the first choice for every medical student. As student from southern states choosing between jipmer ( better ) and CMC Vellore as they don't want to remain away from home. JIPMER has Internal PG advantage on its side and is better known as AIIMS of the south.

This is the first time JIPMER will be giving admission on the basis of Neet Score. So we don't have any idea about the previous year's cutoffs, we don't have any reference. But there are total 249 seats (JIPMER Puducherry (187) and Karaikal campus (62) and 55 seats foe ur category in Piducherry and 19 in Karaikal) offered for MBBS in JIPMER. So it can be expected that an all India rank within 300 to 350 can fetch you a seat in JIPMER Puducherry. Now as you told, you have scored 676 in Neet 2020 out of 720 and your rank is 834. With this rank it would be difficult to get JIPMER Puducherry campus but you can try for Karaikal. Or else, government medical colleges of Delhi such as VMMC are achievable with this rank. Also you can use our Neet college Predictor tool to know about your admission possibilities through Neet based on your score and rank http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hello Aspirant,
On such marks you have good chances of getting any of the asked colleges according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 640 for Madras Medical College, Chennai, 617 for Stanley Medical College, Chennai under All India quota for General category and 465 for CMC Vellore under Home state quota for General category. Note that CMC Vellore do not take part in All India counselling you have to get it through state counselling of Tamil Nadu. Now if we talk about JIPMER so it is first time when JIPMER is going to conduct it's admission process through NEET score so it's quite difficult to predict your admission possibility in it but however on such top score you can get JIPMER.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off (except for JIPMER) and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!

Hey there!
The answer to your question depends on your score in the examinations for the respective colleges. If you achieve the cutoff then you'll get a seat, you can refer to previous years cutoffs to see what your score should be on an average. For admission in JIPMER and CMC you'll have to appear for the NEET examination. For admission in AIIMS you'll have to appear for the NEET examination only from this year. If you have appeared for the NEET examination and wish to know your chances in these colleges check out the careers360 college predictor to help you with that. I'll be attaching the link below

Hello Ariba!!
As you are asking for the seat in JIPMER via All India Counselling, So I want to tell you that this is one of the best college for medical studies.
According to previous years cut-off trends, the marks range for the:
Puducherry Campur: 590-610 (General)
Karaikal Campus: 580-600 (General)
These are the marks range of both campuses of the College and it should be between them only to get surety for your seat in the College.
If you belong to any other category, then also overall marks in NEET should be more than 500 to get a seat.
I am providing you the link through which you can get to know all the details for the College:
Hope that my answer helped you!!
Good Luck and Best Wishes for Future!!
Thank You
Hello!
We cannot perfectly predict or say that the upcoming neet 2021 will be easy or hard.it depends on the testing agency.since this year also the AIIMS and JIPMER exams has been added but still question paper was easy according to neet experts and neet toppers.so if you are preparing don't look for the level of difficulty the question paper just give your best because we cannot say the level of 2021 will be easy or harder.
Hope you solve your queries with these.
Thank you!
