Hello!
We cannot perfectly predict or say that the upcoming neet 2021 will be easy or hard.it depends on the testing agency.since this year also the AIIMS and JIPMER exams has been added but still question paper was easy according to neet experts and neet toppers.so if you are preparing don't look for the level of difficulty the question paper just give your best because we cannot say the level of 2021 will be easy or harder.
Hope you solve your queries with these.

This is the first time that JIPMER is conducting admission to MBBS courses on the basis of NEET score and so it is a tad difficult to predict. But 662 is a good score for a seat in JIPMER under General Category. And to add on, JIPMER has added 49 new seats to both its campuses and so you do have fair chances in JIPMER. . Hello Aspirant,
The minimum percentile, which is required to get admission in JIPMER MBBS, is known as JIPMER cutoff. JIPMER cutoff varies by their category wise-
General(UR)/EWS/OCI/NRI - 50th percentile
UR-OPH - 45th percentile
SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile
If two or more candidates have secured same percentile in JIPMER 2020 then there a tie-breaking criteria will be applicable. The process is-
Candidates with less negative marks will be given priority.
Candidates having higher percentile in biology and then chemistry and then physics section will be given priority accordingly.
Candidates with higher percentile in English Language will be given preference then.
Candidates with higher percentile in logical and quantitative reasoning will be preferred then.
If the above criteria fail to solve the tie, the candidate who is elder by age will be given preference.

Hello there,
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is an Institute of National Importance (INI) which makes it remarkable in its essence. It is spread over a campus of 195 acres, has over 300 faculty members, over 700 resident physicians and over 3,000 nursing, administrative and support staff. It admits 150 undergraduate students and 200 postgraduate students each year.
There are 6 seats reserved for NRI/ OCI in JIPMER ( 5 seats in Puducherry campus & 1 seat in Karaikal campus), there will be a seperate ranking list for NRI students and admissions will be based on that ranking.
The previous years (2018) Cutoff based on rank for NRIs wes 20. So it's expected to be similar to this. Although not confirmed yet but soon it will be.
It is advisable for the candidates to wait for the official NEET cutoffs for JIPMER to release.
Hope this helps you.
Regards Team Careers360
Perhaps this years since there is no separate JIPMER Exam analysing this years situation, many of the 670+ Band General Category students will prefer JIPMER as was in yester years when many top rankers used to drop Institutes like MAMC ,KGMU, Calcutta Medical College and newer AIIMS for JIPMER. So you can expect a cutoff of minimum 620-630 for JIPMER and even higher for the Puducherry campus than the Karaikal Campus. Since even the number of Seats in JIPMER are less, hence more competition.
Do keep on eye on the Counselling Procedure and Dates. For more information on JIPMER and college prediction do follow the link below

JIPMER will conduct admission to its seats based on NEET score under All India Counselling which means domicile rules do not apply. And this year JIPMER has increased its seat intake by 49 seats including both branches. And so with a score of 597, you do have decent chances for a seat in JIPMER Puducherry. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
