Dear Ayush

There is a high probability for you to get into kgmu according to your AIR 614.

From the merit list (2018) of UP state for 1st councelling,I am mentioning only the rank which falls within 600-700 only.

A student had 621marks with NEET rank 625 and state rank 23 and last student with the mentioned range had 619 marks with NEET rank 682 and state rank was 28.

On comparing them with yours, you can surely manage the kgmu seat and domicile will serve you a plus point.

You can also refer to link below and can find merit list for 2nd counselling too.

Good luck.

Hi

You didn't mention your category , nevermind, last year closing rank  for king George medical college,Lucknow  for each category under state quota is as follows

Unreserved-2318

OBC-3730

SC-42372

ST-178190

So you have fair chance of getting a seat under state quota if you belong to SC/ST/OBC category. Talking of which remember that cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.

Hello Satyam

Congratulations for your result you did very well. You can get admission to KGMU easily because the last year cut off was:

Unreserved (UR)- cut off marks 695-453

So there is a great chance of getting admission for MBBS in KGMU,Lucknow.

So I hope you find this helpful

All the best

Thank you.

Dear Sir / Ma'm, the King George's Medical University, Lucknow had a cutoff of 589 for general category students in the year 2018 in the 85% state quota counselling; while it was 575 for OBC category and 454 for SC category and 303 for ST category in the state counselling. So, you have a fair amount of chance of getting into the KGMU, Lucknow.

Hii,Mamc is better than kgmu. It is situated in delhi and in a competition with comparably good institutions like AIIMS and vmmc so it maintain its position on top. Also all the neet toppers prefer mamc and not kgmc so thats self explanatory. Also the facilities available in a metro city like delhi cannot be even imagined in a ‘mordenised gaon’ like lucknow. Also kgmu doesn't even have a competition in up bcoz other college are just as bad as anything,so it's just overrated. Some people have mentioned about the beautiful campus of kgmu.. Dude campus doesn't treat people, doctors do. It doesn't matter who has a lavish campus, if u do not have good doctors to satisfy patients then its useless.. Mamc surely wins in this criterion.

Hope,this information helpful for you.Goodluck.

Hey Babita !
Congratulations for securing such a wonderful score of 615 in NEET 2019.
In order to answer your query, it would need necessary to analysis the stats of KGMU as of the last year.
In 2018,
The AIQ Cutoff Marks for KGMU for the UR Students was 589 and the same for the State Quota candidates was a bit less, i.e., it stood at 572.

Comparing these two with that of your 615, you actually have a great chance making it through into KGMU.
Although the cutoff is expected to raise the bar this year owing to various factors, but according to me.
You stand a wonderful chance are presently belong to a Safe Side.

Hope this helps.

All the Best !

Hello student,

Since you are from Haryana, you are eligible only in the all India quota. Last year, a minimum score of 454 was required to fetch one a seat in the college in SC category under all India quota.
