The candidate should have passed in M.Sc. Physics/Applied Physics/Engineering Physics/allied Physics/interdisciplinary areas in physical sciences.

College Infrastructure
The current NIT Uttarakhand is run on a temporary campus of the government Polytechnic College and one ITI campus at Srinagar, Uttarakhand. A permanent campus is under construction in a place known as Sumari, which is nearby Srinagar. Hostels are available for both boys and girls in the undergrad program. The facilities include bedrooms with 3 beds and tables, one social gathering area and a mess. The food is just eatable.
