You have Mention two colleges in your question which are Acharya institute of technology and Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College. Aacharya institute of technology offers aeronautical engineering at undergraduate level under the course bachelor of engineering. Admission process for Achar Engineering College bachelor of engineering has been started and you can apply by visiting the official website of the college.

It is quite difficult to tell only about one course of two colleges. However i am mentioning below overall details of placement of both are institute azad institute of technology and Kristu Jayanti college:

Acharya Institute of Technology placements:

• The highest placement package which has been offered is 21 lakh per annum.
• Average placement package is 3 lakh per annum.
• There are total of 35 companies visited in the recent year of Acharya Institute of Technology for placements.

Kristu jayanti College

• The highest placement package which has been offered was of 8 lakh per annum.
• Average placement package is 4 lakh per annum
• There are almost 10 companies which visited for campus placement in the recent year.

It can be said Acharya Institute of Technology is better than the second one in case of placements.

AIT - Acharya Institute of Technology offers around 13 courses in all.

AIT offers a B.E. in computer Science, which is a 4 years (full time), UG level course. It is a private university, and the total fees of the course is INR 2.16 Lakh . The candidate must have passed their 10+2 education from a recognised board, with PCM as their major subjects. However, candidates who have passed from the KSOU - Karnataka State Open University are not eligible for admission in AIT.

The admission in AIT is done through counseling based on the rank obtained in Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Entrance Exam (COMEDK) / Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) .

As for the placements, various major recruiting companies such as Cognizant, HCL, huwaei, Infosys, Toyota, Mercedes Benz, Wipro etc. opens the doors of various opportunities for students. The salary offered is a minimum of INR 3.5 Lakhs and a maximum of INR 6 Lakhs . Around 60% of the students also secured internships with stipend between INR 30,000 and INR 50,000 (solely based on the eligibility).

Apart from this, the college also holds various events, fest, and students can also join the inter-course related groups such as CSI group, which will open students up to various course related workshops.

If you were to take my opinion I would suggest you to choose ece in cmrit because of the following reasons:-

1- Firstly regarding placements cmrit definitely has an upper hand than acharya institute of technology as the average package in the ece branch is around 7L per annum in this branch which is greater than acharya institute of technology.

2-  Cmrit has a brand name and is known to be one of good colleges through comedk.

3- The infrastructure of both the colleges is at par. The cafeteria at cmrit is a place of attraction for the students. The hostel and mess being a South private college is decent in both the colleges.
