Amity University (especially Noida, the main campus) is far more recognized globally and nationally, with better brand value, exposure, placements, research opportunities, and infrastructure. It’s good if you’re looking for a degree with wide recognition in India and abroad.

Sapthagiri (College of Engineering / University, Bangalore) is more of a regional choice, good for students in Karnataka who want a decent education at a lower fee structure (compared to Amity) with local placements.

If your priority is brand recognition, global exposure, and diverse opportunities, go for Amity.

Amity University’s EEE department has decent infrastructure with a wide range of well-equipped labs, including those for electrical machines, power systems, control systems, and power electronics. According to university placement data, over 2,280 offers were made during the Amity University placements 2021 drive, where companies such as Yamaha, KPMG, Deloitte, IBM, and Accolite, among others, visited the campus placement drive. The placements are good and the highest placement package that is INR 21.5 LPA and the Average placement package is INR 5 LPA And the lowest is the 3.5 LPA. The NO. of Recruiters were around 340  and offers 2, 280.
