Hello Aspirant,

I would advice you to go for AIT Pune IT instead of NFSC BE in fire engineering.

As fire engineering doesn't have much scope so I don't think this is a good career option.

Whereas pursuing an degree in IT in AIT Pune is great as students from field of computer science get placed easily with good salary packages in the beginning itself.

But if you have self interest about fire engineering then definately go for it but my preference is IT from AIT Pune.

Hope this helps

Good Luck

Hey aspirant,

Army Institute of Technology, Pune (AIT) is an engineering institute affiliated to University of Pune. Wards of army personnel are only allowed to take admission in this college. Admission is done through JEE Mains exam. AIT functions under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) and has the seniormost officer of the Indian Army, the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army (COAS), as the President of its Board of Governors. So unless you are the kin of defence personnel, admission chances here are ruled out.

NFSC Nagpur is a dedicated institute for Fire Prevention Engineering and one of the only few such institutes in Asia. Placements are almost 100% here, with students being hired by ONGC, HPCL, SAIL, IOC etc. The college infrastructure and facilities are excellent. B.E in Fire Engineering is different from regular engineering courses since it requires certain physical and medical conditions to be met. You'll also need to maintain strict discipline as this course involves a responsible job in fire safety. The syllabus/curriculum is also good with rigorous and regular internal exams. Students can also take up course in Applied Psychology. The fee structure is also very reasonable and is a great option for anyone since placement is almost guaranteed.

All the best!

Hello .,

As far as I know the applicant must apply for defence quota during their admission process. As 5% is reserved for defence quota in DTU for each category.

There are 7 priorities in total for which you would get the seat if you get approval in the priority list. Please check the official website of DTU for further information.

Hello,

Sorry to say but I don't think you will get admission in AIT Pune with 5 lakhs rank in Mains. As according to their last years admissions the end rank was about 1,13,592.

And as we know ranks might vary each year it is not very certain what will the end ranks be this year.

Good luck.

Dear Candidate,

To study in Army Institute of Technology, one needs to be a ward of army personnel. This basic criteria needs to be fulfilled if you want to study in that college. Even if you have the score, and if your parents aren't army personnel, it's difficult to get an admission in this college.

Hope this helps. Thank You.

Dear Student,

It's quite difficult to estimate the same if you will get admission in this college or not, but based on last year's data, the closing rank for Mechanical engineering was 113592. And in the year 2018, the closing rank was 111326. There may be an outside chance but the chances of you getting that college are slim.

Hope it was helpful to you. Thank You.
