Hey aspirant !!
They have 60 seats in every course expect computer science (120 seats) total 300 seats so at your rank there's less chances of getting any branches but you can try at your best to get mechanical branch at AIT.
Mechanical branch cut off is less than other branches so you can try on mechanical branch.
Hope this helps you !!
I believe Army Institute of Technology Pune being an older technical institute has better faculty, infrastructure and outlook. Secondly being located near Industrial hubs at Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad further provide impetus to training and placement prospects. As far as Mechanical is concerned, Companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra, Kalyani Forge, Thermax, MG Motors, Maruti Suzuki, L&T are regular recruiters. The median package is somewhere around 4-6 LPA.
