Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, Durgapur Facilities

Bengal College of Engineering and Technology Durgapur has multiple facilities and infrastructure for students and faculty members. BCET Durgapur facilities include classrooms, a library, and department labs. Bengal College of Engineering and Technology Durgapur library facilities include good seating capacity with a rich collection of books, journals, reference books, 53733 volumes of books, 7200 titles, 96 journals apart from 2260 e-journals, and 1400 CDs. BCET Durgapur cafeteria facilities include their canteen which serves tea, snacks, and lunch to the students and staff of the college.

The BCET Durgapur laboratories for all streams and some of the labs at the college are computer science engineering lab, information technology lab, civil engineering lab, mechanical engineering lab, and electrical engineering lab. BCET Durgapur sports facilities include both indoor and outdoor games. The BCET Durgapur also has a gym facility for the students to do workouts and yoga. The BCET Durgapur facilities also include a banking facility where students can do banking transactions from Punjab National Bank.

The college provides spacious and well-maintained accommodation facilities to boys on a sharing basis. The hostels are equipped with facilities like internet access, RO water, cupboards, study tables, chairs and medical care. College Infrastructure

The library was quite large and enough books were there . There was no ac in the classroom and there was no smart classroom. Wifi is there in college but speed is ok. It was hygienic throughout the campus

Overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure

All the medical facilities are available, and sports and games are very good. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are clean and all facilities provided in the library are available. There are messes in hostels, and the quality of the food is too good. I urge all students to join this college.

YES, COLLEGE HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY INFRASTRUCTURE , FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT BUT I THINK THE COLLEGE CLASS ROOM SHOULD HAVE ONE SMART BOARD AND PROJECTOR FOR UPGRADE THE EXPERIENCE OF STUDY. YES ALL THE LIVING SPACES IS CLEAN.

Both the colleges you have mentioned are chosen by many students and they have quite moderate reputation. Now when ever one needs to compare between two colleges then one need to consider some of the basic parameters such as:

Curriculum
Faculty
Infrastructure
Placements

Now if we consider all this point, then suddenly its of no doubt BCET is a better college compared to that of the APS Bangalore. BCET have a better lab and library infrastructure available which is one of the important thing one need. Apart from this, there are more number of faculties available in the BCET who have better qualification compared to that APS Bangalore and also the faculties have quite a good diversity. Now both the colleges you have mentioned are affiliated by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi , so the curriculum followed by this colleges are the same. Now from the placement perspective also the package offered in CSE is better than that of APS and the placement rate is around 82% in average.

See both the colleges are of similar kind. Both the colleges have better placements rates as well as they are in the list of most famous colleges in WB for Engineering. Now if you observe minutely then DR.BC ROY ENGINEERING college will be bit better compared to that of BCET. The reason behind it is because:

DR BC ROY Engineering college have a better infrastructure compared to that of BCET.
DR. BC ROY Engineering College have a better placement compared to that of BCET.
DR.BC ROY ENGINEERING college have a better faculty member compared to that of BCET.
Both the college have the same curriculum as affiliated by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata .
