The eligibility criteria for jceceb for BIT Sindri Jharkhand examination are as follows

The age criteria for different courses for agriculture Forestry Horticulture B tech and fisheries should be 17 years and maximum age is 22 years as on 1st July of the year of examination full stop for animal husbandry course the minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years as on 1st December of the year of admission. Students must be a citizen of India. Candidate should be a local or permanent resident of Jharkhand state. Candidates have to produce the permanent or local resident certificate at the time of counselling. The educational qualification for the entrance exam is as follows. Candidates have to qualify the class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry is compulsory subject along with one of the mathematics or biology. Those candidates appearing in the examination can also apply for the JC ECE but they have first year examination before the date of counselling. Appearing candidates can also apply for this program. Candidates must have secured minimum of 50% marks for general and 40% marks for reserved categories. For Bachelor of fisheries science candidates must have cleared Higher Secondary or equivalent exam. Candidates must have physics chemistry biology and mathematics or physics chemistry and Biology or agriculture.

Hello student I'm sorry to inform you but in BIT SINDRI admission for B.tech course is only through JEECE which is an state level entrance examination not through jee main, so you're not eligible to take admission with this percentile in BIT SINDRI .

Jeece important DATES :-
Registration Start - Second week of April
Registration End--Second week of May
JEECE exam - 4week of May.

If difficult to exactly predict what will be the scenario this year, but with a percentile of 70 your expected JEE main rank will be 260703. considering you belong to general category the chances seems to be less.

I will suggest you to try better in April session exam.

The cutoff for st category previous year in JEE-MAINS was 44 percentile. So, whether or not you'll be eligible for bit sindri is a bit doubtful.

You still hve a good chance to appear in the April session and score well enough to get into your dream college. Prepare well and give ample mock tests.

In BIT Sindri there are about 105 seats available for civil engineering in 1st year and about 20 students of Diploma are admitted in 2nd year.
I would suggest you get a minimum of 93 percentile to get a seat in BIT Sindri. With this percentile or better than this percentile you'll be in a safe side to get a seat in this college.

BIT Sindri is among top engineering colleges in Jharkhand.Lots of big companies offer placement there.Companies like Tata steel and Jindal offer placement in mechanical brach.But also alot depends on your academics,knowledge and performance to because you will have to appear in tests conducted by them and then the you will have to perform well in interview too get a job.

Haider hope you are doing well . As you have Not mention your category here ,assuming you as a general category student then sorry you cannot get admission into bit sindri with 82 percentile. If you want to get admission into BIT sindri then try to secure at least 90 percentile for getting lower branch at bit sindri. Hope this will help you good luck

BIT Sindri accepts JEE mains marks from admission.
Earlier they used to offer admission on the basis of JCECE but from 2019 they have started taking admission on the basis of jee mains score.
