A very huge and vibrant campus with all the facilities available during college hours. There are a number of canteens, including Domino's, a lassi shop, and other places. Top-class sports facilities are available with many opportunities. Hygiene is maintained in the canteens. The campus also includes a hospital, salon, supermarket, and many other things.
Teachers are very well qualified, with most of them having a Ph.D. The teaching quality is great, and they provide excessive study material, which is very helpful. You can choose your own subjects from the second semester, along with the faculty and timings of your choice. The pass percentage is more than 80%.
In my course, 73% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was 13 LPA, the average package was 10 LPA, and the lowest package was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Amazon, Microsoft, and Nvidia. Around 85% of the students secured internships in companies like Infosys and HCL. The top role offered to students in my course was project manager.
The whole campus is of 193 acres with an excellent infrastructure and good environment and greenery. They provide facilities of some indoor and outdoor games along with the equipment in the academic blocks of the campus. There are 3 academic blocks in our campus and one more block is under construction.
There are quite good faculty in our campus the have enough knowledge for the teaching subjects and they are quite friendly with the students. The university will conduct 2 mid semesters and one final semester exams per one semester. The difficult level of the paper is more when compared to other colleges
There are many placement offers offered by the college by the completion of our graduation it will also provide internships by our third year. In the last year the highest package was around 16 Lacs per annum and an average package of 7 Lacs per year.
Every hostel will have separate Wi-Fi systems. Students will be allowed to change their mess option each month. Dhobi service will be provided three times a month. Only labs will have air conditioning. Normal classrooms do not have air conditioning. Not all the facilities are good here.
Conducts exams in a very strict and mannered way. It is very hard for an average student to survive in this college. Not all faculty will teach well. Only 1 out of 10 will be a good teacher. There will be 2 mid-semester and one final exam per semester.
On average, 50-60% of the students get placed every year. The highest package will be around 60-70 LPA. Almost every main development company visits this college for internships and placements. The students who get selected for internships have a higher chance of getting placed.
The only complaint about BNMIT is that it doesn't have the biggest campus. But the campus is very well maintained, beautiful, and peaceful. Canteen is decent with a limited menu and good food. Every MBA classroom is equipped with a digital board and AC. Wi-Fi facilities need to be improved
Since the BNMIT is an autonomous college, they are flexible to adapt to any new upgrades in the market in terms of syllabus, facilitating new courses, training programs, and many more. College will bombard us with projects, presentations, assignments, and internals but that's what makes us learn.
Placement opportunities at BNMIT are way better than many colleges in Bangalore. College tries its best to connect students with the market by bringing out internship opportunities for students. But obviously the competition is inevitable hence not everyone will get selected.
We do have wifi for the hostel, and we'll have infrastructure labs and classrooms. The canteen is maintained neatly and properly. We have a volleyball court, a basketball court, table tennis, and a badminton court. Mess food is great, and they're well maintained
Teachers are highly qualified, and they resolve each doubt and concept very clearly. Well, courses are tough, though, and exams are moderate. Students should really work hard to crack them. Campus is good, teachers are great, and BNMIT gives more opportunities for cultural activities and many more extracurricular activities.
In my course, there's fewer people placed in previous years. Most of the companies prefer CSE students. The top recruiters are Bosch, ABB, and many more. Roles offered are data engineer, network engineer, and machinery roles. Students are placed in some companies, and few have got internships in my course
The only con is the size of the campus; apart from that, the boys hostel is quite far away from the college. Regarding infrastructure, the labs and library are top-notch and way more than sufficient for high progress in learning. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the campus
The faculty are cooperative and give all the support they can. The teachers are sufficiently qualified and knowledgeable. The course prepared is in accordance with current industry standards, and professionals are consulted before framing the curriculum. The semester exams are averagely difficult and perfectly balanced
Placements in our college are consistent and top companies do occasionally visit. Some companies include Deloitte, Adobe, etc. Training for placements is also provided, which helps students immensely. Most students who opt for placements are given the opportunity to do their best.
For college, the infrastructure is not generally liked by students due to being situated near residential areas and also having a very small campus area. Also, labs are decent but they are not that well maintained and all the components may not work so exhanging and all is generally done. Classrooms are decent for mostly all blocks. The hostel is fine but the fees are higher than at nearby PGs and hygiene is not maintained that much.
As of now, the professors we've got are highly educated and have a good command in their domain except 1 or 2; majorly all are good. Curriculum is relevant and good for our future needs and to build basic fundamentals for us. The difficulty is pretty much due to the course and the pressure of many theory and practical exams. So, if you're not interested, just think once before joining.
Many people from my course take placement in IT jobs, as half of the population coming to our college for this branch is people who are either confused between hardware and software or they prefer software. So, for getting placed in our branch, people need to learn extra skills like DBMS, OS, all coding languages and so on. For core people, you need to work really hard to get placed and need to maintain a good CGPA with practical skills.
There is hostel facility available outside. The hostel is a little far from the campus and the girls hostel is attached to the college. The food in the hostel is good enough and the canteen is also very good. The facilities in the college are good. They solve our doubts. The campus does not have Wi-Fi for the students
The teachers are well qualified and most of them have good teaching skills in their department. Since it an autonomous college, the course is very relevant to the industry standards. The pass percentage is about 80% in the college. The teachers are strict in terms of the evaluation.
The placements this year are great at an average package of 7 LPA, which is very good in terms of average packages. The highest till date is 30 LPA. Many top companies are visiting the campus. The top recruiter is Adobe. Many students have gotten internships in very good companies.
The college gives students great opportunities to improve their skills and gain good knowledge. They are very motivating and encourage co-curricular activities for overall development of students. The college conducts various seminars, workshops and competitions to encourage innovative and creative mindset. The teachers provide support to the fullest and guide us when needed.
The quality of teaching in the college is very good. The teachers have great knowledge, good experience and are well versed with the subjects they teach. Since I am from AIML department, I can tell from my own experience that teachers in this department are really good with great knowledge and helpful in all aspects.
Placements are extremely good. Around 90% of student are placed in good companies. The average package is around INR 6 Lacs, where the highest package is around INR 42 Lacs in Adobe. Many students get an good internship in many core company. Mindtree and many startups are the good recruiting companies.
Many buildings are not available on campus. Students will enjoy their practical classes and seminar sessions. The greenery on campus is good. The hostel is very clean and tidy. The food served is the best
Faculty members in our department are very good, knowledgeable, and friendly. They clear all the doubts of the students. The course curriculum is very relevant to the needs of the industry. Exams play a vital role in BNMIT. The pass percentage is 75%.
Many eligible students from our department get placed in different sectors like core, semiconductor, and software. Most of them are happy with their placements. All students get compulsory internships of 4 weeks during holidays.
Hi Zeeshan,
Your DCET rank is 7500 and the cutoffs for the colleges you applied to are below your rank, so that’s why you didn’t get a seat in the 1st round.
Yes, there is still a chance to get a seat in the 2nd round if the cutoff goes higher. Cutoffs may increase if some students don’t confirm their seats.
Also, yes, you can add or change colleges in the 3rd round during option entry. So, keep checking the official website and choose colleges with higher cutoffs than your rank for better chances.
Hope it helps!

Hello aspirant,
I take it that you're referring to the BNM Institute of Technology. This has been authorised by aicte and is connected with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. Since private engineering colleges typically have two off days, so does this one. Although it is stated on the official website that the library is open six days a week, including Saturdays, it is essential to get in touch with the college administration for the class calendar.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
