BIET Jhansi All Questions

To be honest, all the colleges in AKTU provide the same average package during placement that is 4 lpa. Since KNIT/BIET are government colleges, they have better ranking but many students say that JSS/AKGEC is better in studies. So the placement is same but studywise JSS/AKGEC is better. According to the UPSEE 2018 SC category cutoff, you can definitely get KNIT, Sultanpur, BIET, Jhansi or IET, Lucknow.

You can certainly get the CSE branch in KNIT and BIET but you will not be able to get CSE, Electrical and Mechanical branch in IET, Lucknow.

I would suggest you take CSE branch in KNIT or BIET which you will get after Round 1 or Round 2.

Even if you belong general category your rank is pretty good to get you a seat in the university.

At this Rank chances of getting a government college with Cse branch are negligible. You can get any other branches may be there but its chances are also less. You can go for the top rank private colleges which is a better option in comparison to it.

Coming to your question it is not clear to me of which birthday college you are asking about as their are many like Bapuji institute of engg and technology, Bharat institute of engg and technology etc so just pls clear which birthday college you are asking about to clear your doubt.

YES, you can get the IT branch in IET, Lucknow on the basis of your GL rank i.e. 1,137.

Here are the UPSEE 2018 Opening Rank (OR) and Closing Rank (CR) of the IT branch for GL category-

In 2018, after the last round-

OR- 967 and CR- 1,510

Now, coming on to KNIT, Sultanpur and BIET, Jhansi.

You will not be able to get either one of them.

I would suggest you go for the IT branch in IET, Lucknow.

Based on your rank to get mechanical branch in BIET Jhansi you can get it in either third round or in spot counselling round. You should look for other colleges as well like Rajkiya Engineering Colleges where chances of admission are bit higher. I m not saying that you will not get admission in BIET but this can instead depend on the number of applicants .

If  you are looking at placements, then both the institutes have a decent pay package. For BIET Jhansi, the highest pay package was Rs. 7.89 lacks excluding the benefits, whereas at ICCMRT Lucknow, the highest pay package was Rs 6.6 lakhs. However, I must tell you that most of the job profiles offered at BIET Jhansi’s placement were technical in nature such as Software Engineer, Quality Engineering, System Administrator etc. whereas in ICCMRT Lucknow the job profiles were management based such as Equity Advisor, Business Development Executive, Career Development Executive and HR Executive, Project Coordinator and Accounts Manager among others.

Based on your plans for your career path you can choose either of the two. I would be able to help you better if you could tell me that what specialisation are you planning to go for.
