Central Footwear Training Centre, South 24 Parganas Admission Process

Central Footwear Training Centre (CFTC) is an institutional set up in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, engaged in education in Technology of Footwear and Leather Goods. CFTC provides diploma courses approved and regulated by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Degree-wise Admission Process

Diploma in Footwear Technology: The total intake for the program is 60. The admission to the program is through the JEXPO examination. The course aims to provide an in-depth understanding and skill training in footwear design, production and technology.

Diploma in Leather Goods and Footwear Technology: Equally, another 60 seats are allocated for this program. Similar to Footwear Technology diploma, acceptance is through JEXPO. This course juxtaposes leather goods manufacturing with footwear technology to span a much wider field of study.

Both diploma programs are conducted for a period of three years and are full-time. These courses set students up with specialized technical education in these niche areas for the footwear and leather goods sectors.
