The CIPET admission process is based on merit by the CIPET JEE. Covers Mechanics of Materials, Plastic Material Basics, Processing Techniques in Plastics, Quality Control and Testing of Plastics, among others.
CIPET offers a Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology course. This is also a three-year full-time programme with an intake of 60 students and is through CIPET JEE. It involves courses on mould design, manufacturing processes, and recent technologies in plastics moulding.
CIPET offers a PGD Plastic Processing and Testing programme. This is a two-year full-time postgraduate diploma programme accommodating 30 students. CIPET admission process is by CIPET JEE, and it specifically prepares graduates for specialisation in plastic processing and testing methodologies.
