In my opinion, the Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology is a much superior college to the competition. This is due to the college's comprehensive, integrated educational programme. Students at this college have access to a wide range of research opportunities. The goal of the college is to produce top-notch mechanical engineering graduates. It incorporates moral principles and critical thinking while utilising contemporary discipline knowledge and equipment. These enable the college to carry out industry-based contacts with its students.

CMRIT is one of the best private engineering institutes in Bengaluru. It ranked 9th in Karnataka and 40th All India by Education World in 2022. CSE and ISE are considered to be the most sought after courses here.

Admissions - You have to appear in KCET or COMED-K to get admission in CMRIT.

Placements - Positive reviews have been given by the students about the placements. According to the 2021-2022 placement reports, 676 students got placements and 125 companies visited in total. Highest package was 25 LPA whereas the average package was 6.41 LPA.

Facilities - Department Infrastructure for CSE students include: Analog and digital electronics laboratory, data structures with C laboratory, design and analysis of algorithm laboratory, microprocessors and microcontroller laboratory, computer networks laboratory, DBMS laboratory with mini project, etc.

Faculties - The faculties are qualified and hold M.Tech, Mba and PhD degrees. Supportive and approachable in nature according to the students. Separate faculty for placements and higher studies is also there.

Thus it is not an autonomous body and the courses offered are Life Sciences, Management, Technical, Health, Law and other sectors of professional and higher education.

CMRIT Bangalore does not offer B.Tech in any stream, it offers B.E. only. So, unless you wish to do BE, LPU is better for BTech CSE than CMRIT. LPU has great infrastructure facilities with largest campus such as digital classrooms, cafeterias, gym, sports facilities, hostel, well-equipped labs, etc. Faculty members are highly skilled and supportive. The placement record of CSE is decent with opportunities in the companies like deleoitte, cognizant, microsoft, google, amazon, TCS etc with average salary package of 5-6 LPA.

In MVJ College, the ECE branch is good. The average salary offered to students from this branch in this college is INR 3.5 LPA. 90% of students get placements in this branch.
