The campus is well designed keeping in mind the overall development of the students. Classrooms and labs are well equipped with boards, projectors and a good environment for the learning process. There is a playground, cafeteria, canteen, parking lot & various courts such as basketball, volleyball, table tennis and football courts. Wi-Fi and Hostel facilities are available. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelors of Engineering in ECE as I was interested in it. The quality of teaching is really good. The ECE department faculty are well experienced and many hold/ are pursuing their PhDs. The curriculum is relevant. Makerspace lab provides an opportunity to explore.
Around 70-80% of the students are placed. The highest package this year was 30 LPA by Amazon. Top recruiters include Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS etc. A special program called TYL is offered by the placement department that aims to make us placement and industry ready. They aim to train us in various fields such as aptitude, coding, soft skills etc.
The college fees has some variation every year. For my batch we have to pay 90000 per year if we have got the admission through KCET. If the admission was through COMEDK, then the amount is 2.3L per year.
College campus is excellent. CMRIT has a variety of technical clubs, non-technical clubs and an IEEE student branch. They conduct webinars, seminars, hackathons, workshops and much more. Fests such as Cultura, Aura and Spardha are the highlights of the college, encouraging extra curricular activities. The college is located in a prime location, thus making it accessible to various other locations.
College provides all the necessary equipment in the labs as well as in the class. Library has lots of books with a friendly environment. There are smart class in every classroom. Canteen foods are also good but overcrowded.
I'm doing engineering in ECE department. Teachers are well trained and are student friendly. Teachers give lots of time to the student in the class as well as in the staffroom. They help you in every matter of life
Placements are good here with anual average package of ₹450000 and about 120 companies visit the college every year. About 90% of student are placed in 2021-2022 academic year and placements are still going on.
It cost me around ₹235000 i won't tell that it's a good deal but it's okay but I'm happy with my college.
College experience is really good you'll make good friends and you'll have annual fest and technical feast on regular basic.
Infrastructure of the college is good, library, auditorium, Sports complex, college ground, parking lot. The campus area is average i.e not good enough compared to other colleges. There have been different blocks for different trades.
Academics is quite good in this college and also strict. There are 3 internals held in the college before giving the final university exam. Before time the syllabus is completed in every semester. Faculties here have good knowledge over there subjects and teaches well.
In last few years the placement has increased and good companies come into the college. Though the criteria to sit in the placement is ridiculous, if have to pass 3 aptitude, 3 softskills, 3 coding etc test in college itself first. If you fail to do so until and unless you pass, they won't make u sit in the placement, even you have a good GPA average. But at last good companies also come into the college
CMRIT is value for money for Karnataka students only. Though the academics is good and placement also, its too costly for average middle class family. You need to pay 2.5lac per annum just the tution fees.
Campus life is good but not great. Extra cirriculum outdoor activites are not held rather than some sports and a fest every year. One can hangout with their colleagues in the campus and are free to use sports equipment to play sports
Overall college is good than the most of the colleges in VTU. The location is prime, any companies are in there at the college location to which it becomes easy for college to call good companies.
CMRIT is affiliated to VTU.Students can enter the college through KCET Or COMED-k and management too. The infrastructure of our college is we have different blocks like basic science department, mechanical department, hostel, canteen building, etc. We have many facilities like students get scholarships and many job opportunities. There are sports equipments and many others . Our classrooms have smart boards and they are very oftenly used. Food in college is good and worthful for what we pay.
I'm pursuing my bachelors degree in electrical and electronics engineering. I have chosen this course as my knowledge in electronics is good and I'm interested to study more on it. The teaching quality is excellent. The faculties are very professional and experienced. They have a very good subject knowledge and they guide us at every point. Yes, the curriculum is updated and teachers not only tell about the Sylabbus but they give us more knowledge than that which is very useful.
In our college students are trained for placements. We have a seperate section for placement. About 70% of students have been placed every year in our college. The highest package offered is 23L and it I was offered to a CS student. The average package is about 3L .
As my seat was alloted through KCET I had to pay about 50,000 to the government and 30,000 for college. Im satisfied with the money that I'm paying and the knowledge I'm gaining.
Although the college campus is comparatively small, it has all the necessary infrastructure such as ample parking, hostels, classrooms with projectors, a multi storied library and a sports center. The library as well as the classrooms are maintained well. Getting the WI-FI password can be a bit of a hassle so most people refrain from doing so. The canteen has food that isn't too expensive and can be pretty filling.
Teachers are approachable and willing to clear doubts at all hours of the day. New subject such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning allow us to keep up the changes of the world. Information Science is just as good a stream as Computer Science. There are not too many differences between the two streams and one can apply for an equivalent degree in computer science if they are not satisfied with an Information science degree provided they have a good enough GPA.
Almost everyone who applied for placements has got a job already. The placement department works very hard on our behalf to bring companies to the college. I believe the highest package was of 27lpa secured by a person from the computer science department.
The information science course costed approximately eighty thousand rupees annually. The last two years I did not feel like I got my money's worth as classes were online and we were not able to fully utilize all the resources of the college properly due to the ongoing pandemic.
The college has a bunch of activities that take place every year like fests, sports meets, etc. The campus is also not too far from the heart of Bangalore but sometimes the traffic could get a little frustrating at peak hours. Student, teaches and staff are friendly and converse in English.
Infrastructure is very good, all facilities are well maintained and available for use whenever needed. Library is always stocked and the labs are very well maintained. All sports equipment are provided as needed and extra curricular activities are encouraged and fully supported as well
I'm studying Information science and engineering and i chose this college because i heard very good reviews About the college from multiple sources. The teachers are very friendly, approachable and are always ready to solve any issues we face
The number of companies approaching the college are very high and almost 90% of the people get placed because of the high quality of education the college provides. I myself got a job offer from PhonePe with a CTC of 14 Lakhs per annum
My course costs about 83000 per year which is highly reasonable for an A+ grade engineering college with such amenities, totally worth the money spent
Campus Life is unmatched as the people who come here are great and the fests and multiple people we meet help build great contacts for life
Lovely college experience throughout 4 years
The campus is well maintained and provides positive atmosphere for everyone. All classrooms have projectors, libraries have vast resources, the canteen is good and the laboratories are well equipped .
I'm persuing CSE at CMRIT ,Overall the teaching is very good , all the teachers are very helpful and approachable at any necessary time. Also not only academically , they also help you out in any personal projects.
Placements are good. The collage provides special training for placements from the very first year itself. This program happens across all branches, and nearly 60-70% students gets placed every year !
I think the money paid is definitely worth it because of the faculties and their support you get for your projects apart from academic help and college related projects.
The staff here are very friendly and approachable ,the students here are from different cultures and backgrounds so you get to learn team work ,and different cultures.
CMRIT is an excellent institute that has all the necessary infrastructure to facilitate good education. The campus is clean, has a basketball court, a ground, and well-equipped labs! The campus also offers free WiFi and every classroom has a smartboard. Needless to say, everything is well maintained and the staff here is super friendly! The food available at the canteen is inexpensive and is really good!
I'm pursuing CSE at CMRIT and the quality of teaching is some of the best that I've come across so far. The lecturers here are very friendly and interactive - they are quite knowledgeable in their respective fields. The curriculum is based on VTU so it can be a little outdated but college gives you insane opportunities to grow your skillset through various extracurricular activities. You'll find more than one event happening every week!
Placements are great and the drives start early on. Placements go very smoothly in college since they offer additional subjects right from the first year! So by the time you sit for your placements, your aptitude and logical reasoning is very, very good. They also teach additional programming languages, irrespective of your department which gives you an unfair advantage over your competitiors!
I'm paying about 2.5L/pa for my course and I definitely feel that it's worth the money. I can personally vouch for the extracurricular activities that take place here - they help you gain a bunch of skills in a short amount of time and it's really fun!
The staff here are very interactive and super friendly. The crowd in college is also pretty diverse - you get to learn a lot about others cultures.
I would definitely recommend this college!
The infrastructure is good not great . The classrooms have the projector and cameras to resolve any disputes from happening . The lab are well maintained and cleaned regularly . I am not sure about the hostel
I am pursuing Civil Engineering . Civil engineering is very challenging as there are a lot of opportunities . Every project we do will have different challenges and as we overcome those challenges we learn a lot more and we always learn something in this engineering
The quality of the placements is good . The average salary offered to students is 4 LPA . The college is very supportive in placements and the faculty is always there to help and guide us in the right way
My course cost me 78250 per year . I feel my money is worth it as the faculty is teaching us things that will not be mentioned in the textbook like challenging situations
Campus life is amazing
Good atmosphere and place. They are providing good infrastructure for students and staff, a lab with full of systems and lecture's can explain the topics with power point presentation which helps to students to understand better
I am studing Master of Computer Application which helps to build my carrier.lecturers are Good discipline, punctuality and friendly with students. I have learned more technical skills by joining this college.
Providing more placement training to students to get place in the company. 60-70% of students got placed now and in future remaining students will get place in big company. A girl got placed in MNC company with a highest package of 30 lakh per anum.
It's worth for joined
Got much technical skills and knowledge
Hi aspirant,
The total MBA fees from CMR University are approximately 8 lakh to 10 lakh.
All the best!
Hello,
Yes, CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) Hyderabad provides internships to students. In fact, they have a dedicated *Internship Policy* that outlines the guidelines and procedures for student internships
Additionally, CMRIT's Placement Policy also mentions that students who receive placement offers from internship companies must inform the institute
This suggests that the college has a strong focus on providing students with hands-on industry experience through internships.

Hope this helps,
Thank you
Hello Mohan!
Both the institutions have their strengths in comparison between CMRIT and SJBIT. Nevertheless, some differences may come handy below while finalizing your decision:
Placements
Infrastructure and Facilities:
Both the colleges have very good infrastructures with labs, libraries, and sports facilities. Still, SJBIT has a slightly larger campus space of 13 acres and does not have a few modern amenities like a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. CMRIT is located in one of the prime locations in Bangalore, which could offer much better networking and internship opportunities.
Accreditation:
Student Reviews and Faculty:
Both colleges receive good reviews about the faculty and quality education but CMRIT is quite famous for its industry connections because of its location.
If placements and campus infrastructures are valued, then SJBIT would suit their needs. But if location as well as networking opportunities are the only criteria then, CMRIT would have more benefits since it is located in Bangalore.
