With a score of 39.7 in MHT CET, your options for admission to engineering colleges in Mumbai may be limited, especially for popular branches. However, you can still explore several options in Mumbai where your score might be considered:

  1. Thakur College of Engineering and Technology :

    • Known for its diverse engineering programs and supportive academic environment.
  2. Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) :

    • Offers a range of engineering disciplines and might have seats available for lower MHT CET scores.
  3. SIES Graduate School of Technology :

    • Offers various engineering programs and could be an option depending on the branch.
  4. Ajeenkya DY Patil University :

    • Provides various engineering programs with a focus on practical learning.
  5. Universal College of Engineering :

    • Known for its modern infrastructure and student-focused approach.

Recommendations:

  1. Check College Cutoffs : Verify the specific cutoff ranks for each college and branch from previous years to gauge your chances.

With a 48 percentile in MHT CET and being from a reserved category, your chances of getting admission into a government B.Pharm college in Maharashtra depend on the specific cutoffs for each institution and the category-wise reservation.

Factors to Consider:

  1. Category Reservation : Reserved category candidates often have lower cutoffs compared to general category candidates. This can increase your chances of getting a seat.

  2. College Cutoffs : Government B.Pharm colleges may have varying cutoffs based on previous years' data. With a 48 percentile, you may have a chance, especially in colleges with lower cutoffs.

  3. Counseling Process : Participate actively in the MHT CET counseling process, and keep an eye on the cutoff trends for government B.Pharm colleges.

Recommendations:

  1. Check Previous Cutoffs : Review the previous years’ cutoff trends for government B.Pharm colleges to assess your chances.
  2. Explore Other Options : If you do not get a seat in government colleges, consider private institutions where reserved category cutoffs might be lower.

By staying informed about the cutoff trends and actively participating in the counseling process, you can enhance your chances of securing admission to a government B.Pharm college.

Securing admission to Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC) with your academic scores is competitive. Here's an assessment of your chances:

  1. MHT CET Score (84%) : This is a strong score and can significantly impact your application positively for various courses, though MHT CET is primarily for engineering and pharmacy admissions.

  2. HSC Board Marks (76%) : While this is a decent score, LTMMC typically has high cutoffs, particularly for medical and allied health courses.

  3. NEET UG Score (263) : This score is below the usual cutoff for MBBS but may be considered for allied health sciences like BPT, depending on the year’s specific criteria and seat availability.

Admission Chances:

  • BPT Program : Admission to the BPT program is less competitive compared to MBBS, but still demands a good overall profile.
  • Cutoff Trends : Cutoffs vary yearly based on applicant pool and seat availability. You may have a chance but it's advisable to check the latest cutoff trends.

Recommendations:

  1. Counseling Process : Participate actively in the counseling process. Your MHT CET and NEET scores will be considered during admissions.
  2. Backup Options : Apply to other reputable colleges offering BPT to increase your chances of securing a seat.

Engage with the LTMMC admissions office for precise information regarding cutoffs and seat allocation for the BPT program. This will help you better understand your chances and prepare accordingly.

hope this helps you!!

Hello Mahek

Admission to bpt Course is given on the basis of neet ug marks and you have scored 263 marks in Neet ,it will be difficult to get bpt seat with this score.  As it depends upon neet cut off that keeps changing every year.  Also it is decided on the basis of certain factors including number of students appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam,  seat intake,  performance of the students and previous year cut off etc. This year cut off is too high .

For general category candidate neet ug cut off is 50th percentile ie score between 720-164.

For sc/st and obc it is 40th percentile ie score between 163-129.

You have a strong academic profile with an impressive CGPA in BSc Biotechnology and a good percentile in MBA CET. Your OBC category status also provides an advantage in the admissions process.

Factors in your favor:

  • High CGPA: This indicates strong academic performance.
  • Good percentile in MBA CET: This is a competitive score.
  • OBC category: Provides reservation benefits.

However, the final selection depends on several other factors:

  • SIES PGDM specific cut-offs: The institute has its own criteria for shortlisting candidates.
  • Number of applicants: Competition for seats can vary from year to year.
  • Performance in GD/PI: These rounds carry significant weightage.

To improve your chances:

  • Thoroughly prepare for GD/PI: Focus on current affairs, general knowledge, and your reasons for pursuing an MBA.
  • Research SIES PGDM: Understand the program's focus and align your answers accordingly.
  • Showcase your strengths: Highlight your academic achievements and extracurricular activities during the interview.

While your profile looks promising, it's essential to stay updated on the admission process and competition.

It is understandable that you are concerned about applying as EWS while being an open category student (Maratha) in the CET form for MBA 2023-24, considering the Maharashtra government's stance on EWS certificates for Maratha students.

The most reliable source of information in this situation is the admissions authority responsible for the MBA program you applied to. Look for their contact information (phone number or email address) on the official website of the institute or university conducting the MBA program.

  • Explain your situation clearly. Mention that you are an open category student (Maratha) but mistakenly applied as EWS in the CET form.

  • Inquire if this will cause any problems during admission processing, given the state government's policy.

There is a chance they might allow you to rectify your application category from EWS to open (Maratha) before the admission process goes any further.

The admissions authority might ask you to submit a letter explaining the error and your ineligibility for EWS due to the state government policy. They might have a specific format for this letter, so be sure to ask about it.

It is important to address this issue proactively to avoid any delays in your admission process. The sooner you contact the admissions authority, the better.

No, unfortunately, qualifying PU CET (PG) is mandatory for admission to M.Sc. programs offered directly by Panjab University, Chandigarh.  This applies even if you filled out a general application form for PU.

However, there are still a few options to explore for admission to M.Sc. programs:

  1. PU Affiliated Colleges: Panjab University is affiliated with numerous colleges across the region. These colleges offer their own M.Sc. programs with separate admission processes. You might be eligible for these programs based on your graduation marks (though individual colleges might have entrance exams). Research affiliated colleges offering your desired M.Sc. program and check their admission criteria on their websites.

  2. Other Universities: Consider applying to other universities offering M.Sc. programs. Many universities conduct their own entrance exams, and some might accept your marks for direct admission. Research universities that match your interests and explore their admission processes.
