Hello Omkar,

Yes, you will be eligible to take the MAH MCA CET in 2027 even if you had an ATKT (Allowed To Keep Terms) in Semester 1, as long as you clear all your backlogs and complete your B.Sc. IT degree successfully before MCA admission.

Eligibility Criteria for MAH MCA CET (as per latest norms):

  1. Educational Qualification :

    • You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or at graduation level.

    • You must score at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates from Maharashtra) in your qualifying degree.

  2. Backlog Status :

    • Temporary ATKT/backlogs do not disqualify you from appearing for MAH MCA CET.

    • However, you must clear all subjects and obtain your final degree before admission to any MCA college.

      Conclusion:

  • Having ATKT in Sem 1 is not a problem if you've cleared it now.

  • Make sure you complete your SY and TY without pending backlogs .

  • You can prepare and appear for MAH MCA CET 2027 as long as you meet the final degree and marks criteria.

  • State domicile may help, but your rank is still higher than typical cutoffs.

Scoring 81 marks in APRJC CET is a good attempt, but the selection depends on cutoff marks, which vary each year based on:

Total number of applicants

Difficulty level of the exam

Reservation category

Number of available seats

If your name is not in the merit list, it likely means the cutoff was higher than 81 for your category or chosen college. You can still try for spot admission or look for other junior colleges offering scholarships.

For accurate details, visit the official APRJC website or contact the helpline.
