GoodThe college has well-equipped classrooms, a vast library, modern labs, seminar halls, Wi-Fi, and sports facilities. A great environment for learning and overall development. Overall satisfaction
Well-equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors, smart boards, and comfortable seating arrangements. Laboratories: Specialized labs for practical learning in subjects like science, engineering, computer science, and management. Seminar Halls & Auditoriums: Spaces for conferences, guest lectures, and presentations with advanced AV systems.
The college offers good placement support with training, industry tie-ups, and internships. Top companies recruit, and career guidance is provided to enhance students' job prospects. Overall good experience
The college provides quality education, good infrastructure, and placement opportunities, making it a worthwhile investment for students seeking academic and career growth.
The campus offers a vibrant environment with cultural events, clubs, sports, and fests. A mix of academics and extracurriculars ensures an engaging and enjoyable student life.
The infrastructure of the colleges is really beautiful the buildings are really well built there are many good canteens the bathrooms are well maintained the atmosphere around is good and the labs are good
The teachers are very good they are well trained and the student's also behave properly the labs are well equipped and the lab assistant are helpful which makes learning so much more interesting and more
The placements are good the avg package is around 11 lpa which is so good I heard there are many big companies coming to the college for campus placements and there take in a lot of students which is amazing
Our college has all the necessary facilities. It has an amenities centre for women. The classrooms have projectors and there are several conference halls. The central library provides technical books and there are libraries in each department as well. The living spaces are clean and well maintained.
I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The quality of teaching is good. The University is KTU. The curriculum was well developed and new. It includes subjects such as Life skills, Basics of management etc which are very usefull.
The quality of placements at CET is good. Although most of the companies are from IT field, core electrical, electronics and mechanical companies also were present during placement drive. Also, even when you are placed in a company, you can attend placement drive for those companies which offer higher salary package.
College of Engineering Trivandrum is a government college. The fee was about 13 thousand rupees per year. It is very advantageous and completely worth the price.
The best feature about the college is the inclusion of all kinds of activities apart from the academics. This truly supports the growth of pupils in a society. The teachers are very helping and supportive. The location of college is safe. There is a PHC nearby.
The college provides the best infrastructure any government institution provides. It includes machines from old times to the latest updates. Also water, cleanliness and other necessary needs are also taken care of.
The teachers are more focused on preparing the students for the challenges of engineering than for exams. This allows the student to think out of the box and get innovative, hence making it easy both in academics and in later life.
The main reason students are attracted to the college are the placements. Even in the corona times, the college has shown record placements even though the placement season has reached only halfway point at the time of writing. And amazing companies like Oracle, Texas Instruments always gives a preference to CET.
Since it is a government institution and only merit seats are present, the fees is the lowest, and is government controlled. No extra fees are asked. And also by government grants, it is the best. Also it has the country's top most cultural fests, so the campus provides extra ordinary value for money.
Literally the best campus in the state, and I have first hand experience with other campuses too. The politics that exist is democratic and not one sided. And the fests such as Dhwani and Drishti are renowned country wide, with participation from all over the country. Proshows are top notch, with amazing artists and what not. Best recreational areas nearby. Best support by everyone and it is one of the safest campuses with a student body that cares for everyone.
Since this is the top most engineering college in the state, it requires a high rank in the common engineering entrance exam to get into it. But try your level best to attend this college, as you will enjoy every bit of your life. Once you pass out you will give anything to get back. And the CET alumni bond is amazing. Once a CETian, always a CETian.
Our college has one of the best infrastructures. For CS department, there are 4 computer labs, 2 seminar halls, one special room and all required classrooms. We have a free wifi connection for students well maintained. We have 2 water purifier+cooler for drinking water facility.
I'm studying computer science. We have enough experienced faculties to teach us. They provide good quality teaching environment. Our syllabus is not that properly updated. But it covers all the basics of the fields in CS and provides us with quality information.
Our placement system is well organised. The minimum lpa is 3-4 lacs. We have the highest number of olacements for CS department. In the past 2-3 years students were placed at Adobe, amazon, arcesium with package of 39, 28, 33 lpa. Almost all students get placed.
This course is a total worth of money. Since it is a fovernment college we only have to pay ariund 8,000 per year. There is a fee waiver for economically backward students. They only need to pay the examination fee i.e, 1700 per sem.
The campus is great. The college have an area of 125 acres. There are a lot a activities students can engage in both technical, cultural and political. We host one of the greatest cultural fest. We have technical fests with a footfall of 20,000. We have department tech fests, department nights, union programs and programs conducted by individual clubs. But the camous is not active all night. Onmy when we have some events. It is situated in a safe spot, not crowded.
This is one of the best colleges available in India with 81 years of legacy and some brilliant students.
Necessary things are available in the college. There are lot of facilities in the College Of Engineering, Trivandrum . We can use this very effectively. This will help us a lot. We can improve our practical knowledge. Living spaces are hygenic but the food is not so good. You have to try the food from outside
Quality of teaching is not so good, some teachers are dedicated while others are not. Teacher uses new technologies for teaching, such as they uses projecters etc. The curriculum is currently updated.
There is a good placement. A lot of companies come to our college for placements. Also there are a loet of students who are placed in top positions. Our college gives full support for us. They are always with us.
The fee is low. So we would get the moneys worth
Campus life is superb, until you face a breakup
Our college has a really good infrastructure, also equipped with solar panels. We have a central library and amazing sport centres - gym, basketball court, football ground and halls for indoor playing. Our classrooms are pretty good equipped with projectors.
I am studying B.tech Mechanical Engineering ,first year. The quality of teaching is good. I'm skeptical about whether our syllabus includes all the recent develpoments in the field and I guess it's not updated.
The quality of placements can be said is good as nearly 70% students were placed last year. The highest package offered was 32.5LPA by Acresium and the average salary offered is around 5 lac per annum.
I am studying in college of engineering Trivandum, it's situated in 125 acres of land . This first engineering college in kerala(1939).The college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. Last year 3D printing lab is also installed. Each and every class room have projectors . We have a central library and each department have it's on department libraries. College have college radio (Cetalks). We have a football ground indoor stadium,Basketball court, gym in college andhoste
We have good faculties and good syllabus. Curriculum do not contain all the recent development. But in college we have facilities .there is 3D printing lab interested one can use that . And library and computer centre is free and available upto 9 30 pm
We have good placement in our college. 75%percentage or above students got placement. Last year two students got placement of 32lakh . In ktu university our college is number one in placement and academics .
My tuition fee is 8225 . And hostel fee is 3500 per month. I think my money is getting worth. Exam fee not included in 8225 . And extra money needed for text book ,lab uniform and note books . There is no any additional money needed there.
We have good campus life. Students and teachers are supportive. It is situated at chavdimukku ,sreekaryam .TRIVANDRUM medical college is nearly 6km from oru college and ksrtc bus stand and railway station about 12 km from college.
The campus is vast over 125 acres of land with great infrastructure. All the departments have high class infrastructure facilities. But little of shortcomings as well as the college is on its 80 th year.
Among the engineering colleges under Kerala technological University CET stands top in pass percentage. The teachers are very well qualified almost everyone owns PHD. For the students in the college academics is never a big challenge as they are very well capable of covering up all the portions with in few days.
Placements are guaranteed for sure. For every student who passes the course. But the packages vary according to the students capabilities and skills. Last year the highest placement was into Amazon for 32lakhs per annum.
The fees is very megere as it is a government college.
The campus life is quite awesome as there would be some or other programmes every day which keeps the students at the top of their zeal.
For every Engineering aspirant student in Kerala it is the dream come true for securing admission in CET tvm.
