Hi aspirant,

There is no set score for CAT if you want to join FMS. FMS is one of the best if not the best institution to study an MBA in India and the competition is very fierce. You have to score around 99.5 percentile to expect an interview call from FMS.

Try to enroll in self-improvement courses and internships to make your CV stand out as well so that you can get a seat.

All the best!

Hi Sakshi,

The process is as follows:

Hello jainesh,

IIM is not just a college. where u will study and get a certificate. IIm is a brand. I can give you a best example, if you go for shopping you choose samsung, or apple mobile, why you cant choose coolpad, infinix, these are also mobile. but what is difference. you know that I can trust over branded item. the same way all reputed company having trust in iim. see they think if a student is in iim hi is not ordinary person. this is also true you know how it is difficult to get in iim. above that in iim we not just read books we actually live that situation. This is one more advantage you are getting hands on experience. other s certificate course which is required for a mba person is fulfilled by iim. so you are asking advantage but have no other option like iim in india.
Good Luck!

Hello sakshi,

Admissions to MBA and MBA (IB) programmes are made on the basis of combined merit of Written Test (CAT conducted by IIM)-50% weightage; Academic records-20% weightage, Group discussion and Interview (conducted by FMS, BHU)- 30% weightage.Candidates are required to appear in CAT of the corresponding year and register at FMS, BHU through separate admission application form available at FMS, BHU.

BUT Admission to MBA (AB) programes is made on the basis of combined merit of Written Test conducted by Banaras Hindu University and Group Discussion and Interview conducted by FMS, BHU. Admission notification normally releases during April-May every year. The admission application forms will be sold from the Counter at Controller of Examinations, BHU, for this you need to fill admission form sold at their counter,or you can check with the college authorities too.

Hope this helps

Hi Divya,

As you know that getting a seat in bhu for fms is not less then a hustle, people loses their chances even by 1 or 2 marks

As you said you have scored 80 percentile in cat exam its a good score indeed but this time the cutoff percentile for fms bhu is around 84-85, so according candidates with that much percentile will going to get a call for gd and pi rounds.

I just wanna say don't lose hope and try for some other institutions as well as there are many good mba/padma institutions out there too.

Good luck.

Hello, Aditya

The infrastructure of the college is okay and teachers are highly qualified, the quality of teaching is good, batch strength of 52 students in MBA and 52 in the MBA IB course. Regular seminars are conducted here, and industry people are invited during those seminars.

Placements in college are average. However, considering the ROI factor, placements are really good. Almost 90%-95% of the batch gets placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA.

All the best!

Diverse campus life, affordable, varying placements ????

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is different from department to department. Some departments have really high-tech facilities, and others are pretty basic. Libraries are fantastic for marketing resources. There are some problems with parking and Wi-Fi on many campuses.
