Placements
My placement experience in college has been quite positive and rewarding. The Training and Placement Cell is very active and supportive, providing students with guidance, resources, and opportunities to prepare for interviews and aptitude tests. Regular placement training sessions, including soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews, and group discussions, helped us gain confidence and improve our communication and problem-solving abilities. Many reputed companies from various sectors such as IT, finance, analytics, and core engineering visited the campus. The placement process was well-organized, and students were kept informed about every stage. We had access to company profiles, job descriptions, and preparation materials well in advance, which made us better prepared for the recruitment drives. A good number of students secured placements in well-known companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and Capgemini, among others. Some students also received offers from startups and product-based companies with competitive salary packages. Overall, the college made consistent efforts to connect us with industry opportunities and prepare us for the corporate world. Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata:-
Placements: CSE department has a very good placement record, and above 80% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 3 lpa, and the highest salary package offered is 6.5 lpa. Top recruiting company of the college is CTS. The top courses offered are computers science and data science.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in the college were well maintained. Each lab has a Wi-Fi connection. The food served in the canteen is good. They do not have hostels, but there are several PGs. The library is good, and you don't have to buy books. You can just issue books from the library, which has a pretty good collection. The college does not provide a hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful. Faculty members are always available to help us whenever you need help. Sometimes they conduct extra classes. Even we have different webinars which help us to know different technologies in today's world.
