Government Degree College, Bhadarwah (GDC Bhadarwah) is a reputed institution in Jammu and Kashmir, with a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study.  As regards the undergraduate programs, GDC Bhadarwah lets the admission for students who have cleared their 10+2 from an appropriate board. The programs offered include B.A. B.Sc. B.Com, and one of the least-known BCA. For the postgraduate programs like M.A. in Urdu and M.Sc. in Chemistry, candidates must possess a relevant undergraduate degree. 

Application Process

B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science): The college holds multiple B.Sc. tracks-Medical, Non-Medical and others. Thus, it allows students to focus on their area of interest. Admission is granted competitively based on 10+2, primarily scoring in Science subjects.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): GDC Bhadarwah offers B.Com program for all the students who are interested to pursue career in business and finance. The admission is made according to the merit based on the 10+2 results, specifically focusing on commerce subjects.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): This program caters to students interested in the area of computer science and applications. Admission is merely based on the merit in 10+2, with a preference to candidates having a mathematics or computer science background.

M.A. Urdu: For admission in postgraduate programs of Urdu, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with Urdu of one of the subjects. The admission is strictly based on merit of the qualifying examination and other criteria, if any laid down by the college.

M.Sc. Chemistry: For this postgraduate program, the minimum qualification is a B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the major subjects. Admission shall be on the basis of merit obtained in undergraduate studies from the recognized colleges.
