Institute of Advanced Management and Technology (IAMT), Meerut, follows a competitive and merit-based admission procedure for future engineering students. Institute of Advanced Management and Technology is committed to providing quality technical education and is of the opinion that academically talented students should be admitted. Institute of Advanced Management and Technology admission process primarily accepts scores from national and state-level entrance exams for its B.Tech programmes.

Institute of Advanced Management and Technology admission process typically adheres to the academic calendar, and the procedure begins after the announcement of entrance exam results. For the subsequent academic year, students who are interested may prepare for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, which is set to release city intimation slips on January 2, 2025. The Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) is also a recognised test for admission to IAMT.

The following is the procedure for applying to get admitted to IAMT's B.Tech programmes:

• Appear in the JEE Main or UPCET test.
• Following the release of the results, eligible students may apply to IAMT through either the official website of the institute or as per the directions released by the concerned entrance examination conducting authorities.
• Fill up the application form with proper personal and academic details.
• Upload the required documents.
• Pay the application fee as specified by the institute.
• Submit the completed application form along with all necessary documents.

IAMT offers three B.Tech programmes, i.e., Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. Each programme accepts 60 students, thus making 180 students for all the B.Tech programmes. Institute of Advanced Management and Technology admission process in these programmes is based on the performance of the candidate in JEE Main or UPCET. The four-year B.Tech programmes are designed to provide the students with overall knowledge and skill in the particular field of engineering.
