Hi aspirant, since you want to have comparison of IERT, Allahabad and FGIT Raebareli so let me tell you that both the institutions are run by the state government. Both are decent colleges in which earlier the admission is been granted by UPSEE now they use to take admission in behalf of JEE Mains. Also IERT also have it's own exam for admission.
Here is the link with the help of which you can compare both the colleges;
https://dqxeclau.top/compare-colleges Hope this will help you.
Thank You.
Hello, Aspirant. In the question, you mentioned you are from Uttar Pradesh and you have secured 74 percentile in JEE Mains April Session. If I am not wrong your rank should lie within the range of 265980 - 299000.
You showed interest in getting admission at AITH, Kanpur. If you visit the institute's official website, they have clearly mentioned that candidates who seek admission to AITH must attempt UPSEE (conducted by AKTU) and on the basis of that score counselling processes will be conducted.
If you want to get admission in IERT, Allahabad then I suggest you try for cracking UPSEE with a better percentile/marks or sit for the next session of JEE Mains. It is less likely for you to get chance in IERT, Allahabad with 74 percentile.
Regarding admission to IET, Lucknow , the college authority has published a notice recently which you can follow: https://www.ietlucknow.ac.in/admin/2425
Lastly, in order to take admission in KNIT, Sultanpur , as far as I know you can only get admission if you clear UPSEE (conducted by AKTU). Visit their official website to know about admission processes in details.
If you want to know your chances of getting admission in various colleges based on your percentile or rank, then feel free to check out JEE Main College Predictor and UPSEE B.Tech College Predictor .
I hope all this information are enough for you to clear your doubts.
Thank you and all the best for your future.
Dear Subham,
If you have filled the form so right now you can't do anything and you will be counted as general student in the counselling but if you haven't filled the form of IERT then please try to make a new one otherwise, your form will not cancelled but you will be consider as general candidate, and on the basis of general rank for the general candidate your counselling will be done.
Best of Luck!!!

Hey friend!
As you have clearly specified placement is not priority ; then you should choose college near your locality as it will reduce your travelling time . Also I think you should be branch specific and choose electrical branch as it has more career options in government sector than instrumentation engineering.

All the best friend!
When it comes to placements in B. Tech Computer Science, i would think AITH Kanpur would be a better option compared to IERT. You can click the link below to know more about the comparison.
IERT Allahabad, formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) . The college offers admission in various undergraduate B. Tech courses. The college is good in terms of studies. Faculty is very serious about the education of students. Professors are hardworking and experienced. The college has all the basic facilities like library, labortaries, health centre, computer centre. Campus placements are hardly offered. Some students get placed that too in outside companies. You can also check the reviews of students studying in this college using the link below https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/institute-of-engineering-and-rural-technology-allahabad
Dr AITH Kanpur is affiliated to Dr. A.P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The college offers admission in various undergraduate courses. Both academic facilities and placement facilities are good in this college. The college has various facilities like library, medical facilities, sports, separate hostel for boys and girls, canteen, labs.
Hope that helps you.
Thank you
Old infrastructure at our time, needed improvement, heard that new buildings have been set up, so things are getting up there with pace. New students can visit the campus to see improvements, I think that would be a better thing to do
College Infrastructure is quite good and looking like an engineering art. But some old building needs to paint. Laboratories are clean and have proper instrument for practice. College has clean environment.
Firstly if we taught about all the necessary infrastructure then i say no because the needs like Wifi , good library , good canteen and a good buildings are not there . Secondly the things like white boards are not there. Canteen food is not so much hygienic.
