The hostel allocation happens through first come basis also preference are given to non local residents first. You can avail Hostel facilities at the time admission itself.

According to your question and taking into consideration that your main goal is government job or higher studies and your placement is not a priority.

So i would recommend you to go for this college as you are also getting fee waiver and this placement is not that bad of instrumentation. The placements are average here.

The ratings for IERT lucknow has dropped this year and also the branch you are getting is not that popular and the placements are not that good even. So may be you could wait for the next rounds and float the seat to get some better options in the next rounds.

Mostly Yes , you can get into IERT  as your rank is 55k .

About IERT

1. It was semi -gov college earlier but from last year it is now private college.
2. No pressure of attendance and all those hectic things like private clg.
3. Syllabus is not completed . I'm telling u an experience , when we were in 1st year literally only 4–5 theorems were taught in Basic Electrical Subject.
4. Almost zero lab facilities.
5. Hostels aren't very good and mess facility is below par
6. Zero means zero on campus placements

Now coming on positive points

1. Fees is lower than other private colleges
2. No pressure of classes so u can easily do self study at home
3. You have ample time to develop skills by taking coaching classes even on college timing
4. Mostly students are very much talented so nice environment and nice friend circle
5. A lot of IERTIANs are working in various prestigious departments .

Summary: If you're not dependent on college and can do magic in studies on your own then welcome to IERT as u will have ample time to learn various things from outside of college. But if your dream is to get into a good infrastructure based college then NEVER EVER TAKE ADMISSION IN IERT.

Although there isn't a certain date notified yet especially for offline classes because of the current prevalence of the virus but online classes should be going on soon enough. Considering you are already admitted in the college you'll get all the notifications by the college itself.

When all the Charges are excluded your fee will be 53,000. You will be charged for examination fee which will be around 8,000 every year and hostel fee, 20 to 30,000 for every month and tuition fee 55,000. Mess/Food charges will be included under hostel fee itself so you need not worry about it. You will get the exact details of fee structure when you go for counseling.
