To get admission in IET your rank matters not marks because level of paper may vary with respect to previous years papers but you should try to score atleast 450 marks (under 3000 rank)to deserve some core branches .One more thing that during counselling you should have patience because in last round of counselling you can get a drastic favorable change in your gained choice however your rank is more than 5000 many people don’t know this thing so that a few get this opportunity. But now you should first revise your syllabus thoroughly and go for mock tests it will really help you to score well dude.

Hello Himanshu,
Look every year, UPSEE is conducted with a separate cut-off for General, OBC and SC/ST categories. The qualifying cut-off of UPSEE is usually 25% of total marks for Gen/OBC candidates while for SC/ST it is 20%. As you know that the number of applicants in these exams is too high. So try to apply simultaneously in multiple colleges. As no college has started its counseling yet, so you have some to time to decide. So go through the following link. Try to find branch as per your passion and desired skill set, read reviews of other students as it will help you to know more about the college culture and education system. Yes it is possible to get any of the branch but cs it is difficult. It is only possible because you are from obc otherwise its not.you may get less preferred branch. So all the best go for counselling .
The infrastructure of IET Lucknow is well-equipped and efficient for students. The hostel and library amenities are reliable, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable throughout the campus. The campus is safe, and hostel entry is controlled appropriately. Classrooms have projectors and adequate seating.
The infrastructure of the college is in shambles to tell frankly. The library has strange restrictions for taking up laptops. Classrooms and labs are okay with satisfactory and Wi-Fi connections are provided. Hostels are terrible. Food is tasteless and only one canteen is there on campus. The sports complex of college has been under construction for past few years with yet no completion in sight.
The library is good; all books are available in our college library. There is no need to buy books from outside as the library allows borrowing books for a particular time. Classes are fully modern and clean. The computer labs are also clean, and all systems are in running condition. Wi-Fi facility is available but does not work properly.
