IET is very good option in comparison AKG . Main benefit in fees because IET Lucknow is gov.college and AKG is private. In placement AKG is good for CS/IT branch mainly but in IET many companies also come and placement is good.if you want to qualify GATE ,CAT then IET is right choice .choice is always yours

To get admission in mtech IET lucknow on two basis   UPTU   &  GATE. First prefrence for Gate qualified students will offered direct admission through on their marks

Hey there,

The plus points of IET,Lucknow include

  • Very low fee as compared to JSS.
  • Peers with better ranks as compared to JSS. You will have a good competitive atmosphere.
  • Being from a government institution may help you sometimes.

The advantages of JSS include:

  • Better infrastructure.
  • Better faculty

As u can see. They both are good but in a completely different way. That's all fro our research and analysis. All the best.

Thank u

Hello Himanshu,

Look every year, UPSEE is conducted with a separate cut-off for General, OBC and SC/ST categories. The qualifying cut-off of UPSEE is usually 25% of total marks for Gen/OBC candidates while for SC/ST it is 20%. As you know that the number of applicants in these exams is too high. So try to apply simultaneously in multiple colleges. As no college has started its counseling yet, so you have some to time to decide. So go through the following link. Try to find branch as per your passion and desired skill set, read reviews of other students as it will help you to know more about the college culture and education system. Https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/upsee-participating-institutes

No chance, it is the best in AKTU aka UPTU. With 61% marks in MBA, getting IET is very tough, out of reach. You have good score, try to focus on getting colleges like Galgotias, GL Bajaj, AKGIM, IMS, NIET, RKGIT, KIET etc.

Hi Anita! Candidates who will score marks more than the UPSEE Cut Off 2018, they are eligible and called for the counselling process. The AKTU last year Cut Off  percentage of marks to qualify the exam was:

  • General/OBC: 25%
  • SC/ST: 20%

Candidates scores should meet it or higher than the releasing cut off to get admission into course/college of their choice. The authority will release the merit list on the basis of the cut off marks.

Thank You!

Hey dear your marks are good enough to get you mechanical engineering so don’t worry
