IHM Yamunanagar admission process is a thorough procedure for those wishing to start their careers in the hospitality profession. As an autonomous institution, IHM Yamunanagar provides courses specific to hotel management and culinary arts. IHM Yamunanagar admission process selects candidates for the three main programmes: B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, Diploma in Food Production, and Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery.
For the B.Sc programme, IHM Yamunanagar admission process is based on the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE). This national-level exam occurs once a year for the selection of candidates into the various hotel management institutes within India. The NCHM JEE application process usually starts in mid-December and goes on until mid-February of the next year.
IHM Yamunanagar admission process for diploma programmes is a different admission procedure. For both the Diploma in Food Production and the Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery, admissions are open depending on eligibility on the date of counselling. These diploma programmes, unlike the B.Sc programme which is based on the NCHM JEE, are run on a first-come-first-served basis; therefore, early application and actual eligibility are factors to consider for getting a seat.

IHM Yamunanagar's flagship programme is of 100 seats. IHM Yamunanagar admission process for B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme is based on the performance of the candidate available in the NCHM JEE. After qualifying for the entrance exam, the selection will go for counselling.
Diploma in Food Production programme has 40 seats and different criteria with regard to admission. Candidates are admitted on the basis of eligibility on the date of counselling and admitted on the basis of first-come, first-served.
Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery programme also admits candidates for 40 seats. IHM Yamunanagar admission process follows similar admission processes as Food Production. The programmes follow first-come, first-served for admission concerning eligibility based on the date of counselling.
Students need to submit all their original documents during the admission process at IHM Yamunanagar.
